First Edward saved Trevor, then Douglas rescued Oliver, then Rusty rescued Stepney and now Oliver rescues Paxton. This is awesome
I wanna say that this man is the definition of nostalgia. Went back to see the old vids and you are going strong. Thanks for being a part of my thomas and friends childhood ❤
I'm glad that you decided to give a proper role and backstory to Paxton! That was amazing, I never thought I'd see a video like this again!
THE LEGEND IS BACK.
I didn’t think it was possible to make Oliver more of a badass, but you made it happen!
When I first saw this I was having flashbacks of NWR origins and paxton everyone deserves a chance to live I am Kayden the hedgehog I stand for freedom I'm a free man
It's both surprising and kind of sad when seeing a diesel's reaction to being scrapped compared to a steamers. In both the Thomas series and fan made ones, steamers are usually begging to be saved from scarp with it either ending in triumph or defeat. But in quite a few fan stories I've seen, a lot of diesels seem to be more accepting of scarp. Almost like they know their not as valued or loved as steamers and feel it's better to accept their fate and not bother trying.
Yeah
I think the asshole diesels should be in total panic and regretting everything they said to the steamers
@@pizzaplanettruck9761 One example I can name is The Great Heatwave.
Oliver to the Rescue was truly a great story. Mixing in a classic TV series episode and his own content to create a heartwarming story. Also how Paxton was included as the rescue engine. Very Good.
It truly makes me glad to witness your return to Trainz, and even more so to know that you’re back at the peak of health again. As for the project, I would’ve expected this to be a word-for-word retelling of “Rusty to the Rescue”, but you added some nuance, by making it a sequel to “Escape”. And Paxton’s involvement was worth putting in, as it sure feels miles better than how he was handled in “Day of the Diesels”. Though, it’s too bad voice actors weren’t involved, otherwise I, Christopher Bouchard, and the Peel Godred Branch would’ve returned to playing James, Percy, and Oliver. Regardless of that, I still loved the project, and hope you continue to stay happy and healthy. Bye!
And eventually douglas and oliver saved Sidney, Den, Dart, Dennis and Norman from scrap a few years later.
Finally, a legend returned.
So this is like a NWR origins for Paxton. Also seeing Roderick
True resource and sagacity
@@fanofeverything30465 The Blue and Yellow Diesel that looks like Boco
I like how you've done more than just the bare essentials like most Thomas rewrites where one character replaces another.
Thank you! Yeah I wanted to make this my own story, not just a Command F & Replace haha. What I wanted to show was Oliver overcoming his prejudice and using his own past to help another engine.
@@Thomas1Edward2Henry3 is it ok if I can remake some of your episodes please I’ll make sure to credit you and I don’t really want to make my own story because I don’t like using my voice at all

You sir, have inspired me to write lore about Sidney and Norman.
@@Thomas1Edward2Henry3 I hope you can think of more adaptations to work on soon!

This is why Oliver was my favourite T&F character growing up and remains so to this day...A badass engine with a kickass backstory.
The CGI series has not done him any justice, and he barely even makes an appearance anymore.
But he still has his loyal fans who continue to portray him as the badass hero that he is.
Glad to see you return to form T1E2H3, and thank you for an outstanding take on Oliver's character! Mattel could seriously learn a thing or two from Fan creators like you.
This was epic!
First Douglas saves Oliver and Toad (and Isabel depending on your canon)
Now, even though this is a fan story, Oliver does the same thing. Honestly I was hoping the diesel that they past would’ve said “…wait..what the he-“ after realizing what he just said, but I’ll take anything lol
A special with a message that couldn't more important nor impactful. An engines means of propulsion doesn't impact their attitude.
I really loved this! It was like a callback to the finale characters of NWR origins. Oliver’s character arc is finally complete - coming full circle to saving another engine, let alone a diesel! Stella work as always!
Magnificent! What a great story that was. And it was awesome to put Paxton in the series
Good job! Even real men would cry to this episode!
16:50 - Truer words have never been said in all my life; this is something people should really learn from when it comes to race, gender or what have you.
Makes me want watch the old series again. Good job as always
Percy was hilarious at GWR. The Green Demon! They should remember him fondly.
Oh I get it. Oliver rescues another engine and does what Douglas do. Pulls off a rescue. And it's Paxton who he rescued. And he does do so.
It’s hard to believe how far your camera work and writing has come since your first videos, not saying they were bad but I can just tell how much you improved over the years, in fact I recently rewatched nwr origins and it still holds up! Keep up the amazing work!
This was an amazing story! As always, it's so great to see another Trainz story from you, and you really pulled out all the stops for this one! I love how this story references the origins of so many characters, mainly Oliver but also Percy and BoCo, which makes it feel like an unofficial finale to NWR Origins! Oliver overcoming his fear of diesels and scrapyards, and becoming a hero in his own right, is such a cool concept that I don't believe I'd ever seen explored before this. As you've said before, Oliver is the Great Western MVP! What an adventure this was!
THE LEGEND HAS RETURNED!
It's good that he's still making vids
The series is long over but still
You’re back, I missed your new content uploads
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Paxton was rescued by Oliver!
This was perfect, nicely done!
That was great! I really appreciate the faithfulness to the model series episodes. Great work! And the story was VERY interesting :D
Oliver imo was always one one of the most underused characters in both RWS and TVS but fan creators like you give him so much justice. I love how you made the main Engines of sodor series, nwr origins, and the specials along with official timeline all flow into each other superb which definitely made characters like Oliver, BoCo, Henry, Gordon and Diesel some of your most well written characters
Oliver had a pretty decent run in the Classic Series, but the New Series (Seasons 8 to 12) and the CGI series have given him the shaft.
You're back! And more powerful than ever! What a great return with such a banger of a story, well done!
This was amazing! Your writing continues to amaze. Great job!
This was brilliantly done. As Oliver is my favorite character, and who I will decry is supremely underutilized if not underrated, this is quite the treat to watch, using "Rusty to the Rescue" as a base fits so well for Oliver to save another engine works perfectly, and the idea of Oliver saving a diesel and not a steamie is quite a novelty and a unique spin, leading to a great message about prejudice and judging people by their actions.
Paxton as the diesel Oliver saves is also a nice inclusion, since he's a delightful character in his own right.
As a fan of Engines of Sodor and NWR: Origins as well, this was a treat to watch. Great work my good sir, we truly need more projects like this in the current state of the franchise.
Damn this was spectacular! I rlly did feel like Rusty to the Rescue but with the roles of steam and diesels reversed. Although I wanna see a video where Oliver actually stands up to Splatter and Dodge someday
I always wondered how this would've played if Oliver encountered Splatter and Dodge again instead of finding Paxton.
You truly went above and beyond with this you should be very proud 👏
So glad to see a new video, glad you were able to give Paxton an orgin story that makes him fit in with the old TV series and the rest
What a lovely story! I'd consider this Canon myself. ^_^
It's great to see you back!!
This is one of the best fan stories I’ve ever seen on youtube, well done mate
“Boco’s class is already obsoleted” that one diesel at the the scrap yard in full service pulling goods:
You have been talking about this years back and now you have done it. congratulations and great work
I did not see this until now. Glad to see you have returned.
Heh, never expected to see you return! But DANG is it good to see you back again!
I'm happy that you're back!
I’m so happy you still make Thomas original story and adaptation.
Your narration i s pretty iconic.
This was an amazing adaption! Showing Oliver of all engines recuing a diesel was awe inspiring!
As the Star Cabal says, you sir are The Thomas The Tank Engine man of nostalgia.
This video was awesome, I like how the conversations are no longer still images, this looks a lot nice mate, the plot was also very enjoyable, finally someone gave Paxton a backstory :)
It's good to see that you're still posting content, hope you're feeling better to. Keep it up T1E2H3!
YOU LEGEND! YOUR BACK! GREAT VIDEO!
Yay he's finally returned!
This was honestly an amazing episode! I thought you would never post another episode!
Back with a banger! Also great work on the story setting.
I hope more stories are on the way……. I’m at college right now and rather homesick watching this video helped me maintain my sanity
I gotta say, you did a spectacular job
I’ve been a huge fan of his channel since my first year in middle school and I have watched his videos ever since and I’m happy he’s back making videos or at least making a great projects
This was wonderful, great job man!
I hope Hiro, Rosie, Emily or another character is next, as for right now excellent work.
This is the best backstory for Paxton.
this was so great to watch well done t1e2h3. Another master piece i say this would be a good cannon to the show and more development for Oliver.
Awesome story! Your storytelling is unbeatable.
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love this video showing how Oliver the Great Western tank engine along with his trusty brake van named Toad certainly made tremendously grand effort rescuing a B R class 08 diesel-electric shunting locomotive named Paxton from being sentenced to the scrapyard to get cut up into pieces by the horrifyingly terribly scary Scrapper's torch, and especially as it recaps from when Douglas rescued Oliver from the Scrapper's torch in the episode titled Escape during the show's very own complete model era throughout the entire 3rd season!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love this video basically is remarkably similar to the show's very own complete model era in the episode titled Rusty to the Rescue where Rusty rescued Stepney from being sentenced to the scrapyard to get cut up into pieces by the Scrapper's torch by bringing him safely to his new home on the Bluebell Railway; which does completely obviously give us the true origin of Stepney the Bluebell Engine!
I’m happy for you coming back
Looking back at your old videos like for example the famous engines I like how the insults capture the coldness of the classic series
The legend returns
I really like this story as it is a mirror reflection/ character arc for Oliver. Escape is my favourite Thomas story of all time. The inclusion of Paxton is pretty cool (considering I don't normally care for the story) well done on this mini-movie.
@Thomas1Edward2Henry3
We’re so happy you’re back, Thomas!
This is Amazing. However I can’t help wondering how much better it would be if all the Characters had Voice Actors but I completely understand that you probably didn’t want to and or you just didn’t have the time to get in touch with them. Either way it doesn’t matter to me when the final product is still so Incredible so Major Kudos to your great storytelling, world building and Character Development. So all I can say is this Keep up with this amazing work that you do. As I have no doubt that you’ll continue to blow us away with what you do!
Welcome back legend
I aspire to make Thomas and friends content like this. Great job 👍
Even though I love Rusty to the Rescue, doing a remake with Oliver was fantastic. I feel like this episode could fit right in the realms of Season 5. Although I feel like you were a bit inconsistent with Oliver’s voice but you still did an amazing job with this.
I just want to say that your story was amazing and I’m so happy to you making more Thomas and friends trains video.
This looks wonderful! Good job!!
HES BACK AND BETTER THEN EVER
So good to see u come back T1E2H3
This story was amazing, bravo man, bravo.
Nice to see you again!

ok Dudley where are you?!
This is how Paxton would fit in the Railway Series.
Just watched this and is awesome like always love new vids cant wait for more
Awesome can't wait to see this video
Amazing work on this trainz film!
The king returns
Oliver is just the best engine period. His daring and epic escape and passing on the legacy and saving Paxton himself.
Edward and Douglas are also amoung the best for their rescues. Rusty too if you go by TVS
It’s nice to see a new upload
welcome back legend🖤 !
The return of the King
Great To Here From You Again!😁
Yes! More of these! Explanations for how more engines ended up on Sodor
The king has returned
This was amazing
LETS GOOO
UR BACK!!!!!!!!
It’s great to see you again, T1E2H3.
Welcome back.
Huh. No fraps watermark this time.
I liked how you put Rusty and Stepney in the end of this video, just to reference the adaptation
This was definitely just as good, maybe even better than how Oliver was saved, great job T1E2H3
Amazing video as always
This is quite a story for the Thomas fandom, and the Thomas world/universe that we all know and love. Railway series and TV series elements, in quite an enjoyable story.
Here’s to the Thomas fandom keeping the original spirit alive. 😊😌
Nicely done, my dude..
Welcome back
In real life, Diesel's basis (Class 08 number 13236 / D3236) visited the Bluebell Railway. I think the Bluebell Railway steam engines would have viewed Diesel as a threat, although this takes place after he rescued Thomas at the end of Thomas & The Evil Diesel. Diesel also helped Thomas out of a predicament in Yorkshire when he was on his way to the National Railway Museum.
Now this makes way more sense primarily because Oliver is a Standard Gauge engine and I like that you've used Paxton instead of Stepney that makes up for the cameos he only received in your videos T1E2H3
This was a perfect remake of Rusty to the Rescue and putting Oliver in Rusty's spot was good enough but for him to rescue a diesel (Especially Paxton the lovable doofus we all love) instead of another steam engine was a stroke of genius. Also Duck and Oliver coming up toward Percy after he trash talked the GWR made me laugh.
I am a subscriber and love your vids thunderbolt
Yeah and I bet that that's how Paxton got to Sodor in his first appearance in day of the diesels
look your channel
