Nick Hemmings... I remember hearing ]and here comes Kim Batten] in the last meter of Deon Hemmings's race, as usual the America commentator thought the American Batten would pass Deon,, pass wah!!!!
love this interview..Shelly-Ann is so eloquent in expressing her perspective. They work hard. They are blessed. They earned it & they deserve it! Congrats to these ladies and congrats to Jamaica- you all should be proud!
This interview needs to be widely published just like all the bad press about their relationship with each other after the 100m. They seem to have a good rapport with each other
They are Jamaicans but also West Indians, we are literally as proud and celebratory as Jamaica. Huge congratulations to you ladies and to our neighbouring country.
Three of very tallented & wonderful ladies. To an amazing.Congratulations to all.The fastest women in the world in one country.Brilliant.Very lucky Jamaica.
Watch class! These ladies epitomize grace, professionalism and a commitment to getting the job done no matter what. Soo proud of them for that. Hope they enjoy that party they will "probably" have :)
US here we say with pride congratulations entire Jamaica track and field the best in the world Shelly-Ann Pryce final Olympic game thank you for your contribution the World of Sports we love you
Watching these 3 women win gold, silver and bronze was one of the absolute highlights of the Tokyo Olympics. It was justice too that they went on to win the 4x100m relay!
So gracious. And the reporter what a charm to ask the question the way he did knowing what the world has seen. The girls handled this interview so well. Will done Jamaica. Elaine, see you in the hills soon.
These young ladies are not only great on the track but this interview showed true teamwork and that they were happy for each other. Their responses were on point. Big up yourselves one more time.
It's a blessing to see these three "Queen" sharing a moment of joy. Competition at this level is mentally challenging and athletes have to emotionally and mentally fit as well. I wish all three continued success. Shelly thanks for all the years of excellence you gave us...........well done!
When Elaine said she saw the 1st clean sweep when she was a child....man can I say dominance....longevity......speaks to the talent and the depth of Jamaican talent...no one hit wonder....you will remember their names. SAFP, ETH and Jacko
Very good feeling watching all of them competing and having success. So proud watching Shelly going from a innocent/shy young girl in her first olympics back in ‘08 to now being the elder states woman for these younger competitors. Next Olympics it’ll be Elaine doing it for Brianna Williams and Sherika will be in Elaine’s role.
man , im so happy to see this interview. After Elayne’s win , i felt Shelly and Shericka were not amused at all , and did little to congratulate her . but the way Shelly Ann explained that Emotion was remarkable. man man , love the Jamaican Accent
Congratulation ladies! My country, my nationality...could not have been a better way for Jamaica to celebrate our Independence. Happy Independence Day Jamaica!
It’s a good look. Show di world wi no bad mind wi one annedda. We push each other to greatness. Hopefully, the more interview Shericka does, she’s able to open up and be comfortable in the limelight.
❤️❤️❤️❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾We are indeed a blessed people!! Proud of all Jamaicans who walk the path of the righteous! May God continue to Bless his people🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I love this for them. People have to understand competitive sports. Even if you're competing against your siblings you'll still be disappointed if you lose...I'll congratulate you later but after I lose, just don't talk to me. 😂
Serena once said in an interview that Venus talks to her in the car on their way back home after Venus has lost to her. But Serena doesn’t talk to Venus for 2 weeks whenever she loses to Venus. I don’t like that about Serena. That’s way too competetive and vain, even to her blood sister. Imagine how hurt she would be when she loses to other players.
Big Up to my 3 beautiful and talented Jamaican sistrens on your Olympic achievements and also Happy Independence Day to my island Jamaica "Out of Many, we are One"
Excellent interview girls I will always be proud of you my Jamaicans it's a pleasure to watch you succeed and the message you bring to younger sprinters back home.
Jamaica is such a great breath of fresh Air!!! I love my country and people so much 🥰💗🥰💗🥰💗 I'm an so super proud of our ladies and I thank God for smiling upon us
Wonderful to see! Cohesion is good for one mental wellbeing. We are from a small Island but no man is an Island. Therefore, one cannot stand alone. Love you all!
Growing up in Jamaica I remember reading about Merlene Ottey in Primary school and other great Jamaican athletes as well. Now my kids will read about Usain and these girls and I can correct any misinformation because I have met some of them in person and have witnessed their greatness from early days when we a watch Beigiin race dem in the community shops or HWT square. This is great and there is more to come. We have some good crop that is showcased in the ISSA boys and girls champs yearly. Which I'm proud to say my high school, Edwin Allen won. So look out for those girls next too.
I'm glad it all worked out well and they are over the dissappintment but Sorry, they've (Shelly and her friend ) got over themselves now.... At the time , there was no warmth..from BOTH of them.. not even at the fact that Elaine had ran the second fastest time ever... just a light half hearted laughable in sincere pat.....No Joy at all for a fellow compatriot...at the time. Compare that to when Bolt and his fellow countrymen getting medals. ..The 400 m hurdles final women showed more sistership between the gold medal and silver medal winners. Same the 800m final. But all good....we live & learn....
God is good! This is beautiful!🥰 I love this. ETH SFP & SJ... Jamaica123, 100m Tokyo Olympics 2021. Congratulations🎊🎉 guys We ❤love y'all, nice defending ur title ETH 👏 stay blessed guys 🙏❤💯🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
