Conjoined Twins: Going Home

Formerly Conjoined twins Maria and Teresa Tapia leave Richmond, Va., for their home in the Dominican Republic on December 20, 2011. The 19-month-old twins were conjoined at the lower chest and abdomen and were separated successfully in a marathon surgery at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU in Richmond, Va.
