I warm up with just about anything playing it at 40 bpm, even repertoire. I started Brahms Exercise 24 at 40 and it was more excruciating than anything! It really tested my patience. Then I begun my real practice of Bartok's Suite op. 14 and I was flying! Whatever you do, bring the tempo down 👍
Please never stop doing doing videos! They are very very good :D BTW, could you please do a video about smooth fast legato? Example, the first theme of the Piano Concerto 1 in Em BY Chopin the very first group of 21 notes! How to get that clean, fast and very smooth! Thanks
Hello Ugnius, Thanks for these helpful videos, I recently discovered this channel, it’s interesting for pianists and I subscribed. I hope you make videos and tips about how to compose pieces like classical composers, how to make variations for specific melodies. And Thanks again.
Hey! Thanks so much! Totally with you on this one - you are reading my mind! I am working hard to bring your mentioned videos in the near future really, so keep an eye!
What's your favourite warm up to kick start your practice session? Leave that 👇 in the comments :)
