40 years ago, I met a friend from Kukup and since we like fishing, naturally, we talked about fish. He told us that in Kukup, there were so much fish then, that you have to push away the fish to see the water. HAHAHA...(Fishing kakis always talk like that). Nice video. Well done, Thanks
It's pure nostalgia. Singapore was much like this in the 70s. Life was simple and human relationships were the very bases of defining who we were. Progress isn't necessarily evil, but technology has replaced even familial bonds. Smart-phones, cable TV, on-line shopping, food delivery and massive urban redevelopment. You can't even see your footsteps in the mud because it's all concrete. My advice to the youths out there. Savour every bit of the rustic sights, the aromas of home cooked food, genuine friendships found possibly only in a kampung setting. Most importantly, always keep family and friends close to your hearts. There are some things money can't buy and these are things that you do not need money to have.
I used to stay in pontian and kukup has the best seafood back then its cheap too I love their fried cuttle fish and prawn crackers Really miss this place

太棒了，美美的龟咯岛，我在幼儿园时去过，那时我们有独木桥可以去到海中钓鱼，惊吓可怕。20年后我当导游带领团队常常到达这里，这里的每个人都相当热情，每当我来到这里会特别放松，心情愉悦。

本人曾到过龟咯游玩三、四次，对美丽的海景，美食（芒果冰、炸虾饼、晚间的烧烤等）赞不绝口，尤其是晚上的烟火燃放，仿佛家家户户都在庆祝新年。但是，在新村的入口处及咸水村的居住环境需大力地改善，毕竟干净卫生的度假环境也是游客的考量之一。

去过两回 ，租摩托车游岛很好玩 。记得里面有几洞废弃的房子养着燕子生产燕窝。

前几年去过，希望那边的人可以好好爱护环境，那边好像没政府酱，那些在水上建了房子的，废弃的建筑材料却直接丢下去海，这样很不负责任，都是重重的东西，应该不是从别的地方漂来的

I cycle there a few times! There use to be a ferry back to singapore.
That was the previous route which is not in service anymore. Now the ferry only goes to and from Tanjung Balai.

谢谢你的分享，但是这三个村，不是新村。新村是在1948年紧急法令实施后成立的村子。而这三个村的存在已过百年。是自然形成的村镇。
對，沒錯，kukup三村都有百年的歷史，但是在馬來西亞新村的類型一共有三種，分別是傳統新村，漁村，重組村。按照你説的那個是傳統新村，傳統新村是1950年代英国殖民政府设立的华人集中定居点。
龜咯三村都不屬於傳統新村，馬來西亞獨立后聯邦政府爲了方便管理，就一并把華人居多的村落（漁村，重組村）也列爲新村，只不過是不同的類別噢，關於類別的區分，真的很多人都不知道，小哥是因爲好友當過新村村長，所以才從他口中得知噢😊

如果是這裏的度假屋的配套通常最少需要10人（包吃住），價錢的話，就需要看你選什麽類型度假屋噢
如果你人數不多的話，就可以租酒店，酒店房價大概在Rm100-Rm180左右都有😀
