"meet stitch" dude I met him 30 years ago

Yeah and millions of kids have been born every year since who may not. Youre old, try to remember not everything is marketed at you.

Well, you’re about to meet him like you never met him before.
I'm just glad Chris Sanders is still voicing Stitch. Literally no other person could do it better.
Thank god.
I believe everybody loves the classic Stitch's voice
Maybe, for a surprise ending, there could be a post credits scene where Angel crashes on earth. She could be replayed by Tara Strong.
Yeah
I probably could
thank god they cast mostly unknowns instead of shoving in a bunch of celebrities and cameos for the sake of celebrity marketing, this actually gives me a slight bit hope this movie might have some soul (not much but hey i can dream)

The girls look perfect for the part
I thought at first that the girl playing Nani was the girl that played Moana but that speaks to how good she is I believe
I'm a little sad they didn't get Ving Rames to play Corba Bubbles
Doesn't even look like modern day Disney slop. It actually looks faithful to the og. Incredible.
They better bring back fem Queen Plikli (ik I probably k+lled the spelling) back or this is a flop in my opinion.
Seems funnier. But bubbles animated looks better, and don't get me start on our favorite alien duo! Though stitch seems funnier in this one
The only thing was the tourist ice cream guy. He's a local now, i guess. But that's just a background character.😅

“TOUCHING ME!”
That’s the 2nd movie lmao
Did someone ask for all these remakes ??.
Really . I dont find it a good choice to make all these great movies live action ones .
The actress for Lilo is adorable.
I agree!

The fact that she sounds just like her makes it even better.
If you get the chance to, watch some of her interviews. She’s adorable!

@yesikanarvaez5027 he's not a tourist. He's a local.
Look at the actual character. He's either Asian or Hawaiian, either way he's always been a local. Which is why he's in every episode of the TV show too.
Isn't he supposed to be bald with glasses?

@texasjoehotdog1838 there's a cartoon movie of lilo and stich that was filmed in 2002. Search for it so that u will know.
Just a friendly reminder to everyone, there’s a perfectly fine animated version of this back in 2002 and it is STILL good to this date!
I don’t think you need to remind any of us, buddy.
Except for Disney.
I am aware of this…but this still looks good…Will it be as good as the original? Probably not. Does it look better than most live action remakes? In my opinion, yes.
I can like both
We know.

Dudes been chomping on those member berries like they’re going out of style
This is the ONLY live-action Disney remake I’m actually curious to watch
I think this movie will save Disney after this disastrous Snow White movie.
Why? Given their track record, what makes you think this will be any different than the usual? Removing actual humor and anything else considered controversial, they’ll change several characters and it won’t live up to the original.
@@LouieG88shut up and go back to picking your nose.

I saw a rumor when this movie was first announced that The Rock was going to play agent Bubbles-- I am so glad they didn’t go that route. It’s great to see non-super celebrity faces in this movie!!
Edit: For clarification, I’m not stating that all the actors are completely unknown or not famous in anyway, I’m simply saying that it’s nice to see people who feel like they were picked for the roles for reasons other than their fame. The reason we see so many movies with people like The Rock, Ryan Renalds, Jack Black, etc is primarily because it helps with advertising and these actors are paid no matter how good they act, often leading to low effort performances. This movie doesn’t feel like it’s throwing celebrities in our faces, even if there are some familiar faces in the cast. It gives me hope that it might actually be well thought out and well… good
The bubbles actor is a celebrity though...
@ oop well, clearly not as big as the rock because I don’t know him 🤣
Zach Galifianakis is Jumba, so there's a few big names. 🤷🏻♀️
laurence fishburne shoulve been casted imo
I'm surprised that Ving Rhames didn't reprise his role as Bubbles 😳
Glad that they kept the voice actor of Stitch like it would be criminal if someone else had played him. Everything bein recreated in live action is actually pretty amazing to look at
They better incorporate some of the stuff from the Lilo and Stitch Series in this like Dr. Hamsterviel and the other experiments 😊.

@@MakJemah-t2othe trailer is doing a good job in showing its potential in being a good adaption. If we give it a good box office numbers. We should see a sequel.
@@MakJemah-t2oWell there was a sequel for the original Lilo and Stitch, which came in the year I was born in which was 2005, and it was called "Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a glitch", but I don't think it could be possible making a live-action version of that, not even the series either, I mean it's okay if guys like you wish for something like that to happen, but I must warn you that there might be some changes which would make them not be like the best original versions that we all know and love the most.

Fr, they have no reason to make these instead of new, refreshing IP, but this one looks...great, polished?
Stitch and Toothless's CGI looks had to have been done with the original creators taking part in the films' productions.
I hope they touch upon Nani's sacrifices too. All of her dreams, put aside to take on a job she doesn't want nor prepared to undertake. She IS ohana.
It looks like the live action is taking the animated movie and adding on to it. Bubbles looks like he has more of a role in this.
She isn’t thicc enough here 😭😭
I think you’re reducing Nani to something she’s not. Obviously she want prepared and would rather have her parents around but it’s clearly something the wants to do because it’s family and nothing can be more important, Nani realized that letting more people into the family was the answer and she became a great mother to Lilo
@@michaelanderson6488no she doesn't. Its just not shown in the trailer. But the focus to Nani must be there in the actual movie, perhaps more development in to it is vital to the emotional success of the movie. I think most the adult viewers are identified with Nina.

What I find so interesting is that the original director of the film also voiced Stitch. Now, for this live-action adaptation, he is not directing the film, but he has been asked to reprise his role as Stitch. Can you imagine how exciting yet potentially uncomfortable it must be to take direction, follow instructions, and read an adaptation of something you originally created and directed?
On one hand, it is amazing to still be a part of something you helped bring to life. But on the other hand, it might feel strange to step back and watch someone else take the lead on a project that once was entirely yours.
I don't think you understand the difference between making an animated film 23 years ago vs. a digital age live-action movie.

Chris Sanders hasn't had any real involvement with the franchise outside of playing Stitch since the original movie. He had no creative input on the sequels, the animated series or the foreign adaptations. He just showed up to voice Stitch and nothing else.
Good point, but I remember recently watching a behind the scenes video about how he asked for direction from another producer (I think, or director) on the original picture to guide him on voicing stitch, so he's definitely good with working with a team. I'm SO glad it's him voicing this!

The one live-action movie Disney did well was Cinderella. It was outshone entirely by La Belle et la Bête, a French version of Beauty & the Beast.
They're really reaching these days, when all they need do is go back to their moral, nuclear family, roots.
Not necessarily 2D-although that would be lovely-but back to love, honesty, creativity and tradition.
Disney used to stand for what is right, good, and just. They taught children through their movies about all kinds of original sin, and what happens to a life ensnared and enslaved by it.
More importantly, Disney used to always make the point that your mom, dad, and siblings are everything, and that justice, honor, and sacrificial love always triumphs over evil.

0:11 Of course, Stitch took the red one.
@@andrecrosby466Snipe no Snape yes.
What does it mean???
@Víctor-z7e5y it was said in the og I think but ik that ship anywhere!
@@Víctor-z7e5y He did it in the original movie. Think it's just the "special" one. Also there is that common belief that red things go faster, so with that in mind Stitch took the "fastest" ship.
@Víctor-z7e5y If you watch the original, there's a scene where Stitch steals a vehicle from a wide selection to choose and he took the most superior vehicle, when they say "he took the red one" as in being the best that they have and the most capable being the fastest vehicle that they had in display. *It's a reference from the original movie.*
I like how this is a recreation of the original trailer for the 2002 movie
As a Gen-Z and a huge Elvis fan, it’s so good to hear Elvis’s “Devil in Disguise” in the background like the original movie. I really hope they play Elvis’s songs in the movie itself and talk about him like in the original and also have Stitch dress like Elvis, too! 😍
I was SO hoping to see Stitch in the Elvis costume, i hope it is in the movie lol
What do you mean with "as a gen z"? What is the relation with the movie? Honest question
@@StuntmanDanHemi how can there be “real facts” that justify grooming a 14 year old when you’re a decade older than her😭 the delusion
They better have Elvis songs & the Elvis costume!! That was such a HUGE part of the movie & his personality!
Lilo: “Do you wanna listen to The King? You look like an Elvis fan?” 😂
Iconic!
fingers crossed for stitch to be in his elvis wig and suit 😂😂
“He used to be a collie before he got run over” was one of the best lines I hope they still use it.
Hopefully Nani seems to be with it but lilo's going to have to step up her game a bit she's so cute and everything but she's going to have to step it up a bit to compete with OG Lilo
Our family often quotes “That’s not a real name. …in Iceland..” whenever we hear a weird name.
I also want the cake scene that happens right after that. That part was so funny too.
after the Snow White fiasco i think yall redeeming yourself with this one. Lilo's actress is a PERFECT casting choice.
Everything about this trailer looks like a perfect choice. Proof that they don’t need to “reinvent” the story. Just add in some small changes to keep it fresh. Dropping the politics, wokeness and DEI doesn’t hurt either 😂
My sister passed away and we would always watch this movie as kids, I always feel so connected to her when I watch this movie, specifically the hammock scene. She would have loved to see it, but I can’t wait, Ohana forever, I love you sister, my Nani🥹❤️
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🖤
Prayers sorry for your loss
She'll be right there with you, dancing and laughing - ohana forever ♥
My deepest condolences 🙏 but I do hope wherever she is now they still have movies. I like think so.
I'm so sorry for your loss
The girl playing Lilo is freaking adorable! Maia Kealoha was perfect for this role.
And in my humble opinion, Cinderella was the most beautiful live-action Disney has ever made for this new era of live-actions, but Lilo and Stitch is giving me the same vibes.
For me it was the Aladdin.
Its Aladdin for me.
@@29wanyayeah Aladin
Beauty and the beast is also very good
And how is that? Because you saw two minutes of it? It doesn’t have the same vibe not even remotely. Tbh no matter how it looks, Disney felt the need to take a near perfect animated movie and change whatever they need to change to make it live action and acceptable for today. Their history of doing this is not good. Cinderella was ok, but nowhere close to being as good as the original, and that was before all of the woke stuff took over Hollywood.
This is going to be so wholesome I cant wait!
2:00 Pleakley looks kinda similar to his animated counterpart but realistically CGI. Wonder how Jumba would look like in Live action?
I’m kinda nervous
Jumba is holding the gun at 1:55. Theyre both wearing human cloaking suits.
@@DarkDreams948 He even says "Jumba! No, wait!".
@@DarkDreams948He meant how does Jumba’s really look when not using the disguise, like when we saw Pleakley for a second without his disguise
@@PerfectChaos115ah yeah okay makes sense. Sorry 😅
I forgive them for giving Jumba and Pleakley human disguises, because Pleakley looks PERFECT when he’s in alien form.
True! But too bad they couldn't have them do their original disguises, but in this day of age, it would have seemed offensive
It actually makes more sense. In the cartoon their disguises were hardly believable.
@@GamerGeek4Lyf3 but that was the best part
@GamerGeek4Lyf3 True, and of course, they're extraterrestrials.
They usually have the technology to pull off holograms and such.
Pleakley does have a good design but something about it feels a bit uncanny. Idk what it is, it just feels like it.

okay, this looks way better than I thought it would. & Lilo is perfect casting, so adorable 💙
@danimmmmm yes i agree you
The OG movie was so monumental that my music class had a Samoan Lady come and teach us all about island music culture. I hope this lives up to that hype.
Finally Disney made a live action version of their films which actually looks really good. It feels just as fun as the animated version
I'm crying! I grew up with these movies! This was my childhood! Stitch is my favorite Disney Character! ❤
This looks like the best unnecessary live action remake that Disney has ever done.
I'm actually excited to see it
So nice to see Chris Sanders voicing Stitch again. That chaotic alien fuzzball is missing a piece of himself without the voice.
Beep, bop... I'm the Philosophy Bot. Here, have a quote:

I watched this movie in 2002 at 15 years old now I'm taken my 15 year old to see this in May ❤ Comes full circle.
When the original came out, I was about eleven or twelve. My mom took me to see it in theaters. I'm thirty-four now and I'm looking forward to taking her to see this remake.
This is the first Disney Live action I'm actually excited for. It actually looks good.
After more than 20 years that ice cream guy is still dropping his Ice cream
Except this time, it's shaved ice
@@ramonabdiel10 The fact that this movie at some point would be released on Disney Plus and then they switched it for a theatrical release that was a good decision
Gen-Alpha rascals when they saw that scene,
"Ferb, I know what we're going to do today" 💀
🍧
A snow cone to be exact glad they kept the joke in this remake
Finally a live action that looks promising.
Right off the bat, this looks a million times better than live action Snow White!!! First live action Disney remake I’ve been looking forward to in a LONG time
I think they strategically decided to launch this trailer today so people can forget about snow white already haha
And now they just need to not screw it up and it will be a hit maybe they can go for the less popular movies now in live action do Atlantis and others that didn't totally succeed rather then doing the ones no one asked for
This actually looks good, wow I am excited
Gosh this brings back memories of when I was 10 and seriously obsessed with everything Lilo and Stitch. I'm crying and now I'm 31.
Me too, me too (I'm 32)
Me too, Im 30. Im not obsessed but im emotionally invested.
I’ll turn 31 when this movie opens up cuz it comes out right on my birthday which is may 23rd ❤
We're here in the same age missing Lilo and Stitch.
This trailer is just pure nostalgia for me. It’s also a blessing to have Chris Sanders doing Stitch again. It would NOT be the same without him.
Yes i am so 🥰🤗
