Hayes brand (Chinese made) New Tiller Unboxing

A new delivery today! A HAYES rotary hoe (tiller) that connects to the John Deere 2025R tractor and helps us turn the soil on our rows for growing lavender and wax flowers. But before we can use it we must work out how to put it all together! There are no instructions and way too many nuts and bolts.

I bought a 54inch Chinese brand. Appears to be the same. I haven’t tried it yet. My instructions came with an email from seller.

Omg, they ask 2200 euro for this tiller in EU. Its chinese but its realy good quality

HI Jane. The tiller has been good. When new a lot of the bolts were loose and there were no instructions on how to assemble the top part that connects to three point linkage. Regularly grease the bearing on the side and check the gearbox oil level. Mine is gear drive so I need to check that level as well.Hayes sell new tynes but little else. I got the 'heavy duty' model that has the clutch setup so you don't have shear pins to break!
