I like how PD Kun handle the girls, so much care, determinated, and responsible for their work. The girls showcase their sexyness and being dope in here performance. Each of them have the right to perform beautifully. And the studio with water was so aesthetic!
Kiki has really improved her vocals. But An Qi, man she's something else. Xinwen also, she's my pick alongside Juicy as the top vocalist of YWY2.

For people who say it's Kun and backup dancers: Go watch the collaboration stage of trainees with Lay from Idol Producer, Lay was the Center and the only one who wore red (while trainees wore blue) and no fans of the trainees complained. Kun gave the center of the second chorus to the trainees, it's not his fault that when he stood to the side, the camera still focused on him. He composed, produced and choreographed this song, as well as managed the stage set-up with water. Yet in this comment section, I don't really see the appreciation. Please respect him.

lmao let’s be real, most of us rational fans would love that, but those toxic blinks (not all blinks! just the toxic ones that keep ripping into kun) would make so much noise
Lots of people are commenting how this was the least like a collab. I agree since Kun as the center in bright colours makes the trainees look like backup dancers. But if you’ve seen the FULL ep then you would know that Kun distributed quite a few lines to the trainees as well as adding more so the trainees have equal time. He isn’t the one choosing the outfits or controlling how the camera is moving. Keep in mind that these are just fun stage performances and doesn’t require voting it’s for the trainees to gain experience. If you watched idol producer and their collabs then you would know how this works, blame the camera for keep zooming into Kuns face NOT Kuns fault:(
Kuns stage presence is also no joke. Pretty much the camera eats him up. You just can't not look at him.
I hope youve seen the other stages too. Because people are comparing the stages (for this season only, not the other seasons)
And it is only in this stage that the focus is more on the mentor. The line distribution (even after Kun giving up some lines) was primarily More on kun singing. Even on the adlibs, he has more of them.

The same problem happened with Lay in Idol Producer where he was supposed to have a highlight part with Kun in their collaboration but it didn't make it in the final edit which was against his wish because that was supposed to be one of the highlights.

Honestly, PD Kun is a loving and gentle man who takes really good care of every girl in this show. Rarely have I ever seen anyone so nice and considerate like him. This is a cooperation stage, meaning that each of them play the same position as one another. So, there is no PD, no trainees, just some talented and sexy people collaborating in this wonderful performance. Why don't haters just enjoy this as a true MV and an amazing music piece? The ranking is over, please, relax. I think all of them try their best to do.

For those complaining about the screen time unfairness, I bet you don’t know much about Cai XuKun. It’s the first time the song “Lover” is being performed, and that’s a very big deal in China since Kun is one of the top selling artists. Furthermore, he made sure each of the girls had their own solo part so that they could shine. When you watch this performance, your eyes will automatically acknowledge everyone, not just Kun. Now THIS looks like an actual collab stage. Kun should really do these kinds of sexy sensual concepts- it suits him more. Although I liked the other stages but I liked it way more than the other stages considering there was a stage with my bias lisa. I know she did the best she could with the time constraint and given that she was not even physically present. BUT this one slaps.
Yeah . I think mainly because Lisa's main popularity and strength is focused on dancing while kun PD is an all rounder and a performer, which means he will always give a more complete stage . So it's also a disadvantage for Lisa that she is not there. And ofc I can see that this Collab stage put a little extra work(credits to kun PD).it is just the most harmonious performance . Like everyone was good while other performances. We can see trainees lacking than others. This one made them all shine and look good individually and as a group . 💛

Take note everyone! Kun did not participate in the process of this video- meaning it's up to iQIYI who gets more of the screentime. Also, stylists are assigned with their outfits- it's normal for the PD or Mentors to be given an outfit that stands out more. Just go watch other collab performances like Lay Zhang in Idol Producer.

This is the best performance. We’ve seen these girls dance to girly pop songs but KUN introduced them to a new genre to showcase the girls’ talents like who wouldn’ve thought that An Qi and Kiki have such beautiful voices. after watching all of the performances, i realised that i keep coming back to this song as i found myself always humming to its melody without even knowing. it's true that kun is really handsome and i do not deny that that's also one of the many reasons why i love him but his talent to produce, compose, write this song, his professionalism to make the performance as perfect as possible, is what makes me TRULY fall for him even more. his personality is also the most charming ever, ive never seen such a mentor who sacrifices so much of their own time and effort to help the trainees, and his always constantly being a gentleman! i can really feel his sincerity to everything he does when i see him and admire his personality so much. im so happy that he's finally getting all the recognition he deserves!!

This feels like pt. 2 of "I wanna get love." It's really a sophisticated song. I think the melody and the dance moves go well together. Good job to Kun for this project and all the girls had a good amount of shine. All their voices fit well together.

This comment section is very depressing. It makes me miss the Idol Producer collaboration stages when LAY wore red and the trainees wore blue and black but I never saw anyone complaining about it. People just understood that its how MENTOR collaboration stages work. Sometimes, I just want this show to end already so that toxic and immature kpop stans will no longer have a reason to come and criticize. I don't understand why some people can't put hype on their idols without wanting to put damage on others. Some don't even care to watch the complete episode to know what really happened before they comment criticisms. First of all, this is a collab stage, so all the purpose is to create an outstanding stage and all have shine moments, which i think this song did pretty well. All gals shined in this video, and this one has the highest watching number
second, i understand that everyone has its own love, i did too, but pls do not come and compare with the other mentor (which stage not even showed today, and the mentor cannot even showed up on stage) or disrespect kun. Whoever watched the full episode can tell how much he wants the gals getting better and more chances to shine. I feel so disappointed to see so many negative comments here. Peace and love

I watched the whole episode. The other mentors were able to put the spotlight on the trainees, as it should be, and Kun could have done the same as well. He chose not to.

@@calicofishy He could have chosen to debut his brand new song normally instead of on a fucking variety show, but he chose not to and shared this with the girls before releasing his actual song. He could have made them perform Hard to Get or Wait Wait Wait, it would have been a hell of a lot easier on him instead of working on a new song with all of their parts, but he chose not to. He also could have just done his job as a PD instead of also taking on the role of a mentor when the other mentors are not able to be there, but he chose not to.
