I wonder how Joe Goddard reacted the first time hearing Beg Forgiveness. Chris Brown was in tip top shape on that one. Songs like those with such powerful lyrics being reshaped and brought back to life is good for the culture. Folks like us who enjoy samples end up falling in love with the original sample song which puts money in those artists pockets as well.

Beg Forgiveness is pretty much Chris Brown karaoke and somehow its still one of the best Ye songs in ages
It kinda ruined the vibe for me knowing neither Kanye or cb wrote the lines for that one. They're some of the strongest lines on the album and Kanye just took a whole song worth of lyrics and put it on his name which honestly is a lot less excusable than a lot of the other sampling Kanye does well
