Any manipulation of the cage walls to gain an advantage by a fighter has to be illegal...the ref will issue a warning or deduct a point for obvious use of said fence in a bout...I didn't know the answer for sure and like you I often thought that a move involving the use of cage wall to gain said advantage had to be a foul; so I looked it up and it is a foul...
I'm 6'4" 280lbs and I would HATE having to fight either one of these guys or lighter weights. They are so fast😓 Reminds me of my mom's little poodle Fifi. Our neighbor brought her English bulldog over and Fifi was very protective of my mom this Bulldog got too close and Fifi went off started biting the bulldogs ass both sides of it and jumping back and fourth super fast the bulldog spinning in circles trying to get at Fifi but Fifi was way too fast for the bulldog finally my mom broke Fifi off the bulldog. You might be asking why I didn't do it? Fifi hated everyone other than my mom so if I jumped in to pull her off my fingers would have gotten mauled even though she was a poodle she could bite hard she bit a hole straight through my brothers thumbnail and thumb it was gross. Now in MMA I have felt just like that bulldog fighting small opponents and being punched in the face doesn't feel good no matter the size of the person😢 I bought a gun and said PHUCK the fighting I'll just shoot you if you're mean 🤣
