You should see american football players, the CTE rate there is insane, but seriously, they do get some concussions, but boxers, specially heavy weight boxers get what comes next. Hear me out, 10- 12 rounds of hitting each other in the face, and if they get dropped due to a mild concussion, they count to 10 so they can go there and get concussed again; add all those hits from sparring, specially when preparing for a fight. So I have to disagree with you on that, it’s not like in boxing you can get a team mate to sub for you, but damn, sure wish cte never existed, that way we could practice these sports without having to worry at all
@@Graytumor That is true, add to that the steel helmets, but it is just like boxing gloves, they don’t protect your opponent rather your body, but both have a fatal flaw, since they DO protect against cuts BUT they allow you to crash against each other at higher speeds that what you normally could without injuring yourself, except that if you are a heavy football player (so pretty much everyone), you have crashed against somebody at high speeds and a ton of weight, so you might be protected from cuts but the sheer force goes against your body with no protection available for your brain against it’s own skull, hence why american football has way more cases of cte than rugby. But being fair it also depends if the rugby league allows high tackles (some do, some penalize it with a red card and week ban)

@@OhMoonPresenceRugby need more consideration and smart play because the risk of injury is high, you could tear bits of your ear away from the play above. Good job, just the worry is that that scrum might collapse, just watch your props and your locks legs, their knees shouldnt touch the ground at any point. I know this sounds like hate, but I hope it's seen as advice and feedback. Respect the game 💪🏻
A lot of commentators on here talking about scrummaging. Unless you've actually participated in the scrum, then your comments about scrummaging are pointless. Because you know shit all about it. Front rows knees etc always go towards the ground on the initial hit. When they have adjusted after the first hit, they right themselves against the opposition. Problems occur when their grip slips off the opposing player/prop, prompting their knees to touch the ground and give up a penalty. That's why it is imperative that the front row and locks are all insync on the initial hit. The tight five should be as one. Before any asks, I've played in every position of the scrum except hooker. The margins are super tight at international level. One mistake can cost you the game as what happened in the weekend just gone.
