I've been having to fish brush piles in 12-15ft until I find biting black crappie but white crappie will be in 1-10ft and spread all over on vertical structure, I've learned a lot here 👍
Jon do you believe that fishing in lower Alabama is a little tougher than fishing in say north alabama or north Florida? Seems to me that the quality and size of fish is better all around us accept for where we live! I live in Brewton Alabama.

Lay is closest to me and it’s tough down there
It’s mostly black crappie on Lay they have a bad attitude. White crappie don’t mind the heat as much.

Certain river in south Alabama have smaller fish like the Tensaw! Fishing south to me is way easier than up north
