Bears gonna have to cover the entire cost of the stadium. 3.2 billion...they offered to cover 100% in Arlington Heights
when was that said?
@@sebastianleja3461 Google the proposals for arlington last year. The Bears said they would pay the entire stadium cost 100%. But...the surrounding Infrastructure(retail, hotels, bars, roads etc) they needed the state and township help.
Citizens should not be subsidizing stadiums for billionaires. Period
Especially for the worst franchise in football.😂
Billionaire with an asterisk in the McCaskeys case
@@troll-fx2zcnot really there are still like 15 teams that are historically worse than the Bears
JB is a billionaire himself so he doesn’t care. He hasn’t cared at all about the average citizen his entire political career. This is the same guy that legalized weed after building his own weed farm and unconstitutionally banned a bunch of types of guns after he built himself a gun range and store that sells those very same guns in Wisconsin…. I can go on with several other examples. Dude is a POS.
@@daoneils3783 name one
So you want the people to pay for it, while also having throw/those same people pay for sky high ticket prices, as well as high food prices when they attend the stadium? Sounds like a sweet deal.
According to the Bears city should abandon a perfectly functional stadium that they still owe $500 million on in order to take out billions more in debt to build a new stadium right next to it, with the justification that it can do events in the winter and bring a super bowl.
News flash: Stadium tours are not going to come in January because they do tours in the summer. And even if one does come in January they are not coming that same year in June. There are very few acts that can fill a 70,000 seat stadium.
A super bowl is one event that brings in about a hundred thousand people...once every 10 years or so? And the city should take in billions of debt for that?
This whole situation is absurd. If you need a new indoor stadium so bad then go to Arlington Heights and pay taxes.
On the lakefront where?
South of Soldier Field
@@Angry_Peanut_52 they should put it next to Wrigley field
My name is Kentitoray Adams and I believe the Chicago bears should stay the way they are. I don’t believe they should build a dome stadium nor move to a lakefront and it’s going to effect the Taxpayers of Public.
They are already on the lakefront..
@@willrobinson4976 Agreed they are already on the lakefront and it’s nice they should stay on lakeshore drive. Yes. The dome I don’t believe they should do. The Chicago Bears should play at the same Stadium for eternity.
Kinda takes the sails outta the “Inflation!” and the “Brandon” malarkey, don’t it?? How about housing and jobs…for everyone else…not a freaking stadium!
They’re gonna be stuck at Soldier Field for a long time, this ain’t happenin.
Don't bet any of your own money on that, it's simply a matter of time.
Kevin Warren was an awful hire lmao
He's better than known Yes Man Ted Phillips
Look who he is working for…
Warren is not a bad hire at all, not sure why you think he is no good…
@@CHITECHGUY You know why. The person (Being generous in calling them so.) is a sorry, racist, sob.
Tbh this can create a lot of new jobs. Also the governor is more concerned about the SAFETY act loving the criminals more. But I rather it create more jobs than anything
Anything for criminals& illegal immigrants.. FUNNY HOW THE CLOWN CAN BE AT CITY HALL EVERYDAY BEGGING FOR MORE $$$ BUT CANT CONTROL THE CRIME🤡
Oh sure in a TOTAL RUSH when it comes to taxpayer $$$ but HOW ABOUT CONTROLLING THE CRIME& DOING PURPOSEFUL THINGS INSTEAD OF BEING ON ALL 4’s begging like that clown politician running& hiding in their cars🤡🤡
