I am seconding the suggestion for bringing the Hammer Arctic Vibe. You might find it perfect for a certain area during practice. It looks so good in everyone’s reviews, including yours!
I used the NU Blue out there in April. Best look I had, especially late in D/S. I had the same look, though. Started with the purple, went to a DNA when I needed to create a little bit of angle. Then I was able to ball down to the NU Blue on the same spot. Deepest I got in D/S was standing 15, 10 at the arrows, to 5 downlane.
Surface is important I feel people NEVER mention that. I have a lot of speed but I'm Rev matched. Im taking Web 3.0-1500 Envy Tour -1000 (lane shines fast) Effect-1500(box was too clean) Dark Web-2000 Wed tour hybrid-2000 Web MB-1000 w/compound

Good luck, man. Did my Nationals a few weeks ago. Holy Christ! The Teams pattern was the hardest thing I ever played on. I did six games on it between Bowlers Journal and Teams... and I think I averaged about 150... Singles/Doubles was much much nicer. Just went from aggressive pearl down to the Purple throwing it from the outside and did pretty well. But Jesus, teams this year took my innocence and any notion I know what I'm doing as a bowler. 🤣
I'm a big urethane guy and think you have too many. Urethane really looked good at the BJ but that's it. The key is breaking down the pair. Our team really didn't follow the breakdown plan. However our D/S pair was able to. Urethane wasn't thrown once in D/S
When do you bowl Nick? We go in 2 weeks. Nice ball choices to hopefully give you some good looks. I will guess that you shoot 1850 total. Good luck & safe travels.

I'm a relatively new bowler and haven't bowled outside of house shot. Are you bringing mostly urethane because of the pattern or because they are what fit you best?
Nice line up Nick, solid line up! I did like that Track Tundra for you, however you know your game best, and you are playing on a sport shot, not a THS. Hope you do great, and beat some personal records. I know if you are as loose and consistent as you are in the last bunch of vids, you will do great! 😊
Thanks! Yea it is sometimes hard with so many options available but I have to go with the ones I know I can perform with. Really there's only a couple of spots in the bag each year. This is the first year in a while that a Black Widow isn't going with.
Went back in April. I took: Widow 3.0 Box Finish Envy Tour 500-1000 Effect Rhino pro 500-1000-1500 Black Urethane 78 Was very happy with the decisions I made. 3.0 and effect for a predominant amount of the tourny.
I took my Envy tour, black hammer 78, prism hybrid, messenger pearl and messenger solid.. pretty much just used the Prism 80% of the time.. practice before doubles myself and a companion on my pair threw urethane then I went to the envy tour and it was good for 8 frames then switched the prism and used that the next 5.. team reminds me of doubles and singles from 2023 so the purple or 78 will be a good starting point

Looks and sounds like a great arsenal. Curious why bw3 not in bag. Also high friction wood lanes going to 13 lb balls for house pattern what would be the three balls you recommend low rev low speed senior bowler
BW3 too strong for my game plan. By the time I ever move left I’ll have friction to throw at. As for your question, I’d suggest Rattler NU, RAW Hammer Pearl and maybe something like Beyond Infinity if you need a little more
I did Nats at the end of May. I played straight up 4 board in Doubles and Singles and shot my best Nats set ever. I used only one ball and never had to move a millimeter for all 6 games. The pair simply did not break down or change. On my pair were two lefties and one righty. The rightly was playing a zone inside me, so I had the whole gutter to myself. The gutter to 5 board is fully in play Brunsnick. You should kill it.

I like the Low Flare Scorpion and Black Widow 3.0 but I assume the Hammer Effect replaces both of those choices

Too weak. Surprisingly the Fireball read the lane properly but wasn’t enough through the pins.

Are all of them almost the same layout? What layout do you usually use bro? :)
The thick shells have 4” pins by 20°, the NU is 4.5” x 20° and the asyms are 60x5x20.

I am anxious to get the Rattler NU as I need a ball like that as I don't bowl well with urethane.
This is a good alternative while maintaining that smooth motion like urethane.
Purple Hammer, Scorpion Low Flare, Black Widow 3.0, Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid, original Envy, plastic spare ball.
How would you compare the Effect to the Hazmat?
Hazmat is longer down lane, Effect is stronger and quicker to react.

I have NU Blue and Envy Tour stronger than Purple. Arctic too responsive to play outside and straighter.
