- Choosing the right paper combinations for your photos can sometimes seem a little overwhelming. Not all paper even though it matches in color will compliment your photos. Let me show you how I choose which papers to use so that my photos are the main focus and don't get lost in the background.

I'd pick the pink. They both look great, but it doesn't seem right tonot be able to use the cut apart embellishments on the back side of the purple.

How do you print your pictures? I will a good quality. I dont have a good printer at home.
Hi! I do print at home. I have the Epson 400 picture Mate. I can’t imagine having to go to the store everytime I need to add photos to a layout or having to wait to get them in the mail. I also never know the size or what photos I’m wanting. I purchased the printer when I started my channel 15 months ago and I love it! Almost every layout I did before that doesn’t have photos on them. I use either Epson or cannon premium semi-glossy or glossy 4 x 6 or 5x7 photos paper. I love this little printer.

I print from home on the Epson 400 picture mate. I print all my photos on either Epson or cannon 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 premium photo paper. I never know what photos I need or what size until I’m creating. I love this printer. I’ve had it for 15 months now.

I print the photos with the white border around it.

The purple paper. Pink is too pale and gives a very washed out look.
