@@preay8111 if anything, maybe put progress photos of your crochet pieces so they know you're making them and not buying them to resell. It's all a bit tricky these days!
I'm glad there's so many artists on the East coast that cover cons! Excited to hear your thoughts on Zenkaikon, because I was on the fence about it since it's not a local con for me
What a super helpful and detailed video!! I had no idea where to find cons or that I may even need insurance 😮 I also have an art portfolio, but not one for a con, so I’ll make sure to get my shop website ready for that, thank you!
This doesn't matter to most people (i think), but i think you should move the mic a bit down? To avoid blowing on the mic and the mic picking up mouth sounds.. It makes it slightly hard to listen to but that may just be me
Wow, Ohio con has a fan art restriction? I wish it were a full ban on the selling of fan art, but that's just me. I don't mean to harp on fan art. There's positives to fan art. But when it comes to just stealing IP and selling it...I think we as artists owe it to the art world to bring something new. Do we really need another scantily clad Sailor Moon or Calvin and Hobbes as Batman and Robin? Yawn. I know the talent artists have out there. You are amazing! Bring you and your lovely original creations to the show! Great vid. Great tips!
Thank you so much for your video. I turned in my momocon application with your advice. I had no idea I needed to have a website but I got it done!
Best of luck to you! Remember, Momocon needs proof you're not AI, so have a tab for that on your website too!
@ oh really? Even if I’m a crochet artist? Thank you for letting me know!!
