What a great adventure! It's great to se HA reaching out to some very well known UA-camrs to sponsor, so they can get more recognition that they are not only for "older" people, but for all ages... the ship looked beautifu too & the food... amazing!
lol the golf carts remind me of the "race track" cars at amusement parks. Now I want to go to Grand Turk and have an adventure and rent a golf cart. Would love if this could be a thing on more lines.
Finally! A lettuce wrap quick serve burger at Sea. On our last cruise on the RC Wonder I had to practically beg for a GF bun and it took 20 mins to find. Left in tears one time before they even found it. So happy to see that Dee! ❤
22:49 Cute story from one of our stops at Grand Turk. We were on Ruby Princess (spring break 2011, I think) and we were in the Ron Jon shop at the port. I heard someone say: that sounds like Jackie and that came from friends from Indiana that were on a Carnival ship that was also in Grand Turk that day. We had no idea they were going to be cruising at same time let alone same place on same day. 😂😂I’ve been told my voice carries!
Good morning! I wait for your video, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy it like a good movie! Love Turks and Caicos, my brother was there in the 90’s on a resort project, his house’s back yard was the water, you could fish right there, clean the fish and barbecue it. What a beautiful island!
I laughed out loud about the donkey in the toll booth 😂. Looked like a fun trip. Too bad you couldn’t stop for a photo op at the colorful Grand Turk sign.
Tamarind was our favorite meal on the ship. We ate most dinners at Club Orange which we loved for the service (menu matches dining room with a few extras) in Grand Turk we rented a cabana at margaritaville and had a great day. We sailed Nieuw Statendam in October and celebrated our 25th anniversary with a Vow Renewal on the ship, Captain O'Driscoll remarried us and it was 100% pure magic, the best experience ever, we fell in love with this ship.
Grand Turk is so pretty! We took your advice on our Carnival cruise and brought water shoes and snorkels. The kids would scream every time they saw a fish!😂
I just found your Channel ! I just wanted to say thank you I’m really enjoying your adventures!! I’m going to Curaçao next week and going to the sunscape resort because of your video so thank you!! I’m sailing on carnival!
Grand Turk was one of our favorite islands. Our guide showed us the salt factory which at the time was just closing down. They did have a visitor shopping building they had just made. The capsule is a reminder that fishermen in the area helped recover it when it landed a bit off course. A very small island, but had good info from our guide. He drove us past houses where they were making special foods outside for some holiday. They do have a problem with nothing much to do on the island other than tourism so they lose a lot of their young citizens.
Did an excursion the first time we went to Grand Turk. Not a whole lot on the island, some salt beds, a lighthouse and that was about it. It was a nice little tour but next time we are there in a couple of weeks we will just do the beach. I do like the golf court idea though.
Glad you are having fun on HAL. We have always enjoyed cruising on them. If you would have found stroopwafel at the Dutch bakery it might have been a perfect cruise. Maybe next time. I usually get it on the first day. Also next time try the MDR for lunch on embarkation day. Great way to begin the cruise. Princess has it too.
They removed the shipwreck from Governor's Beach. What a short tour and they didn't take you to the light house? We usually rent a golf cart from a third party I think last time we paid 90 dollars and had it all day.
Wait, we don't know the word "homestead"? Its not "Omstead", it's "home-stead". Home. "Bisquit and Gravy" is biscuit and gravy. Or, biskit and gravy. It's interesting to watch your videos. Thank you for joking around about how to pronounce American words! You are cracking me up! 😂 Thanks for bringing us along!
Is HAL still using cruise cards? (vs. something like the medallion on Princess) So glad that it looks like you all are having a nice relaxing but enjoyable trip on HAL
The trip wasn’t free, hah. We did pay for the cruise! But HAL offered us some extras for the cruise through their public relations department, yes!! :D
Dont know if you were talking about the pizza on the ship but I can tell you it was good on Niew Amsterdam in November 2022. Better than I remember it being on my prior HAL cruises. Dive in Burger was also very good.
"Got my toes in the water, xxx in the sand not a care in the world and cold beer in my hand, life is good today. Live is good today."

Love you too 💓 great day we all had with you kind regards from the UK 😊
Tamarind is the best! The food is amazing and far east legacy is so good.
Thank you for the golf cart idea.We are definitely trying that on our next trip. And we always get a kick with the sock of the day 🤣🤣

Nice reference to Back to the Future 👊🏼 lol.

so nice to see you both enjoying the golf cart as we did on our cruise
Tamarind food looked awesome. Golf cart tour is a great idea. Thanks.
Had it once, not great but it could just be me.
Another great video. Thanks for sharing this with us.💕💕💕💕⚓️🛳️🦩😎🌴

1:50 was a nice throw back 2 “Folgers in ur cup” 😊

I think the name fir a group of flamingoes is cool! A group of flamingoes is called a “Flamboyance “. Appropriate.
The food all looks great
The golf carts sound like Disney's Autopia.
Wooooo! Deets on the eats!
Hello guys I am glad you having so much fun. I have a question how much was the golf cart adventure.
when Dee comes to town the animals just want to see her...they dig you Dee.

Oh my goodness, I just saw those water bottles on amazon and was wondering how good they were. I was planning to use them on our upcoming Disney trip.
That Burger LOOKED real good
Your golf cart trip looked fun!
We had the seafood boil in Alaska. It was the best meal of the whole trip!
Sounds like you're off to an exciting ADVENTURE! Do you get any breaks between cruises???
We have a couple of days in Honolulu, some time in Iceland and England, and a few days here and there!! :D
They removed the shipwreck from Governor's Beach. What a short tour and they didn't take you to the light house? We usually rent a golf cart from a third party I think last time we paid 90 dollars and had it all day.

Yes they were in November 2022
Jesus take the wheel
I like the ticketless excursions very nice. Golf carts seem fun. How long was the excursion?
This one was two hours!! :D
Love a good low carb burger!
I have the collapsible water bottle in pink. It is a good collapsible bottle.
Does Holland America have your favorite cruise food?
did you say the cost? (in key west it was about 140 for the day)
Dinner talk name suggestion - ToJAYs Dinner DEEscusions
If you are eating at Tamarind, are you allowed to order food off both the Tamarind and Nami menus or only one?
Apparently so! They brought both menus to the table, though we didn’t try to order any sushi.
Decompsed? not that much of it left then ROFL.🤣😜
I bought a pink collapsible water bottle.
Another fun day and I really liked the golf cart tour idea!
was the free trip and meal because you're vloggers?
The trip wasn’t free, hah. We did pay for the cruise! But HAL offered us some extras for the cruise through their public relations department, yes!! :D
Why are the donkeys all over the place and allowed to roam freely?
They used to use them to haul salt, but after they shut that industry down, the donkeys roam freely now!! :D
how was the pizza?
Dont know if you were talking about the pizza on the ship but I can tell you it was good on Niew Amsterdam in November 2022. Better than I remember it being on my prior HAL cruises. Dive in Burger was also very good.
Too bad you couldn't drive on your own to explore.
do not like the app shore excursion ticket, i do not have a smart phone let alone want to carry it ashore if i had one
Fun fact, a flock of flamingos is called a flamboyance.🦩🦩🦩😀
