Great journey, i know nothing about Wind Vanes....can you confirm the rudder attached to the wind vane then uses the blocks and lines to set the main rudder to the same angle ?

No, the type of wind vane you’re talking about uses a trim tab that it’s actually attached to the Rudder. The monitor is a servo pendulum wind vane that has its own rudder, which steers the boat based on the angle of the wind on the vane. The lines from the servo pendulum attach directly to the boats rudder at the tiller. The small vane rudder moves the lines and actually steers the boats tiller on course.

I'm assuming you survived since you released this video. Looking forward to the story behind it. One day you and Norm will be laughing about it.

Haha yeah she’s a great little boat. She sure can take a lot more abuse than we can!

Way to leave it on a cliffhanger. 😮 So does Mig survive the storm? Does Norm drown in the afternoon cabin?😪😱😭☠️ Is Tofer electrocuted on the battery bank? 🫣😵💀 Tune in next week to find out.

Mig shrugged it all off like it was nothing! Norm came out when it was all over and I threw some cold tuna wraps at him.
