An unedited version of this movie did once exist and was once broadcast on STV (ITV in Scotland) around autumn 1988. It was the first Clouseau film I'd ever seen and I liked it so much that I then immediately purchased it on VHS videotape. I was gutted when I watched the videotape as so much was missing & at the time I didn't understand why. Not sure how or why STV once had obtained an original uncut version but trust me they did and I've never seen it since.
It was quite common in those days for TV edits of movies to put deleted scenes back in. It was mostly so that the TV network could include more ad breaks.
THE BEST FILM IN THE SERIES, NO QUESTION!!!!
This movie works much better as a James Bond parody than the 1967 Casino Royale wich also starred Peter Sellers.
The best: the Dreyfus' eye winks (surely he thoughts in Clouseau in that moment).
Easily the FUNNIEST film in this series! But you need to see "A Shot In the Dark" and "Return of the Pink Panther" to fully understand this one...
I saw this one before I saw those movies. Now I see their connection.
I always loved seeing the pink panther movies. They always made me laugh 😂.
When Comedies were funny when it came I was at third grade and I laughed so hard.
and that is why i have always failed where others have succeeded
My school doing this for the school play... I really aught to know these characters and figure out what's best for me. I personally like being the crazy guy.
The deleted scenes from the movies were used in the movie trail of the pink panther
Wish they could release a version of this film with all the deleted scenes in
Well the first length for this movie was to be 2 hours 4 minutes. But they cut it down to 1 hour and 43 minutes So they used the deleted footage for Trail Of The Pink Panther.
They used the deleted scenes for "Trail of the Pink Panther" (1982) due to the death of Peter Sellers that died in 1980 before the film was released two years later.
@@aidanlang961 There was never a deleted scenes and Or footage in the two films
@@ansumanahargett6227 I was talking about the deleted scenes from “The Pink Panther Strikes Again” of Sellers as Clouseau used for “Trail of the Pink Panther”.
What a movie
Very funny.
The total comedian gifted never forgatable
Harry Waxman 1976.
Batman: All of the assassins are joining forces. From China, Germany, France, England, Russia, and the United States. Who brought the assassins together, and why?
0:20 Charles Dreyfus: *I* brought them together to destroy the most dangerous man in the world. That incredible idiot... That stumbling bumbling menace to society... *Inspector Jacques Clouseau.*
In : PINK PANTHER STRIKES AGAIN, CLOASEAOU has beautiful women , , namely . . .LESLEY ANN DOWN , as The RUSSIAN AGENT who finds him ROMANTIC .MIKE NOLAN 5/16/2019
Nice komedi nostalji 😅
I wonder if on The Simpsons they would do an episode similar to this where Sideshow Bob and his family threaten to destroy the world unless they kill off Bart for them.
This movie is just everything about this series on meth😂
Great, now that I saw all the funny scenes I don't need to see the movie.
There should be an anime film where the unlikable anime characters join forces to destroy the world unless the world destroys the very people who ruined their lives.
Yui Kotegawa (To Love RU): I brought them together to destroy the most dangerous man in the universe. That incredible idiot, that perverted, clumsy menace to society: Rito Yuuki!
Steve Martin was a disgrace in even attempting to replicate the iconic comedy of Peter Sellers.
Got that right he wasn't even close how could a American possibly take over from Peter sellers
The cartoons are much better
That is what I thought in my teens then we got into the Seller's movies big time.
The cartoons are much better
“But That’s a priceless Steinway”
“Not anymore”😂
they could at least spice up with some animation
