Not sure if you're totally against using others' farms for this series, but if you want you can check out Ianxofour's wither rose farm. It uses the same wither location, but with snowgolems. All of the pumpkins and like 80% of the snow is recycled and you can get shulkers of the flowers in under an hour. The farm is insanely easy to build as well.

Yeah there were definitely several better ways to approach this, either way still an amazing series!
For the wither roses problem, you can just throw the eggs into the wither chamber in the end then throw a poison potion on the baby chickens, they will survive with one HP, low enough to kill them with one wither blast
to add, Poison Potion reduces health to a half heart - it does not kill.

I know you've probably gotten other comments about ianxofour's design for a wither farm but aside from that here's some notes that may help!
- Mobs don't spawn in a 24 block radius. So if you want to you can build a protected ladder that goes upward (or downward) 24 or more blocks so you don't need to keep flying. If its underground you can build a roadway there as well!
- Poison potions to help lower the baby chickens before spawning the wither.
-That Obsidian cage can not contain the wither. The wither will explode and tear apart that cage.
-Maybe a hopper line to auto-fill a long line of chests would be beneficial to you (as well as autocrafters)
- You could also build a sugar cane farm using observers and pistons at the same place as your gunpowder farm.

If you wanted to clear a perimeter for the wither skeleton farm, you could use flying machines with tnt dupers to obliterate the terrain. You would just have to make path for them to fly and drop tnt while not getting blasted by their own explosions. You'd have to get rid of the lava tho, you could use sand, as if you were draining an ocean monument.

also make the exit a ladder so the chickens dont bolt lol.

Cant you just throw splash potion of poison at chickens before activating wither?
Wait 10 seconds so their HP drops to half a heart(nothing ever can die from poison)and activate wither,easy kaboom
Also you can make chicken autofarm based on eggs,dispenser,ice and item elevator(kelp,bonemeal,soulsand elevator trick also lifts items easily and is good for item elevators)
You should finally get to a storage system, probably something modular so you can increase it later if you end up hording enough junk!
For the wither roses use a snow golem based farm in end as it takes few minutes of set up and i got about 3 shulkers of wither roses in 2.5 hours

You can brew potions of poison and splash the chickens with it before spawning the wither so they get one hit killed. Or you can build a wither rose farm using endermen, just search up wither rose farm I believe shulkercraft made a tutorial on how to make one using endermen and a wither.

I farm wither roses by building a room in deepslate with platforms for chickens. Then I poison them and spawn wither. Main problem is that placing wither skull can be impossible if chickens can climb onto that block.

For wither roses I always went to a part of the world that's unused and fairly boring then spawn the Wither over a pit of chickens. With upgraded gear that Wither isn't too much of a threat.
Ianxofour's wither rose farm. It uses sheared snowgolems so you only need 2 snow blocks per rose. After they die you even get all of the snow back

Use a splash potion of weakness on the chickens before you spawn the wither, they die instantly then when he spawns in

I want to ask if buckets of Lava might be a easier/more fun way of making it so mobs can't spawn but I am wondering if creating an inventories worth of buckets and risking that would be worth it.

are your portal coordinates connected? ie, the coordinates in the nether are exactly 1/8 of those in the overworld, because thats really the only consistent way to connect portals (its never broken for me at least haha)

Digging for copper, yet i found a gem
always best to build a wither skeleton farm in a soulsand valley, because of the spawning algorithm there the spawn rates are much higher inside nether fortresses. Wither skeletons are also slightly taller than 2 blocks so you can keep them out with a gap two blocks high.
I have created one but the wither skeleton doesn't spawn simultaneously, i have to fly away couple of chunks and then come back to get some wither skeletons what can be the problem ?
@@user-rb4qi6gx8c mobs cant spawn within a certain radius around the player, the best design is to build and platform just far enough below your spawn platform so that skeletons can spawn, and then have a drop chute that the skeletons will fall down. Find a tutorial on UA-cam they’ll explain it better than I can

If you poison all the chickens first by using splash then they should die after the first blast!!
Your plan to get roses under the end portal is solid just toss some potions of weakness on the chickens before summoning the wither
