So basically once you smell something, your nose and brain retain that info and makes room for new smells...all in seconds. Have you ever noticed that when you think of someone no longer alive or far away, you can actually remember their scent or perfume? Like you don’t smell them, you just know the scent. If he can smell himself that vividly for a long time then he no longer just requires a shower... he needs an entire skin transplant and deodorant lol.
