One thing about gravels is..they do lose color over time..black becomes ash gray, red becomes almost brown. Shiny gets dull. You have to add fresh every few years or so. Although some gravels on the lighter side tend to look freshest longest. I've seen nice gravels used by the Railroads!..not the usual granite gray. I guess it packs down best.
    No garden is no maintenance.

Aqua is my all time favourite colour but I'm not loving it on the white, I'd like to see it on black or brown.

I wonder if there is anything long term to spray on lava that keeps that "wet and colorful" look?..Veggie oil?..Maybe clear lacquer?

Hello Laura! I have a question, I got some succulents and cactuses about 1 and a half year ago and now they’ve really overgrown their pots and I dunno what to do... I feel too scared to move them because I don’t want them to break x_x should I just cut them so they can have a fresh start? Not sure if it’s the right time since it’s kind of hot here in Mexico City. Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks!

I'd kill just to have your "trash" bucket of all the pieces you've cut off. Every time I watch a video I'm like "send me those cuttings in your bucket!!!" I forgot to bring in my succulents when winter started and it got below freezing for a couple of hours one night and that killed over half of my collection. I had 30 different kinds of succs and now I'm down to maybe a dozen. The one I missed the most is my aeonium Mardi gras.
