Conch, sorry Conk, would be my Death Row meal. Partly to buy me a little extra time while they source it, but mainly because it's just the tastiest thing on earth. Love the video, as always!
That’s hilarious. Also one of my favorite meals! Love the texture with some curry sauce and roti!! 😋
Hi Ria aunt is really a professional cook she’s a very strong lady to you and your family stay safe and enjoy your week bye.
"We grew up on seafood" - yet another reason to be envious of our brothers and sisters who grew up in the Caribbean 😅🙌🏽. Thank you both again for a wonderful video and I loved seeing the scenery and your dog too! Blessings and well wishes💛
Looks so delicious! So happy you have taken the time to document your aunt's recipes to share with us. As usual, amazing video!
Thanks Matthew. I treasure the older generation. So much to learn from them.

Dear Ria and auntie Jang, thank you very much for this recipe! 😍 We love conch! Every year when we visit our island of Curaçao we have to look for some fresh conch to prepare. It’s a delicacy. Very scarce now-a-days and very expensive. But so delicious 😋! It is also difficult to find here in The Netherlands. It makes it more special when we can get it. Love your channel! 🌹💐😘🌷
Love this recipe
Omg your Aunty can really cook. She made that paratha the way my grandma used to make hers. We are having a curry-que on Sunday, maybe I can adopt your Aunty 😂.

While what was shown in the beginning of the video in the shell was conch what was shown shortly thereafter in the bowl was what is known as Whelks which are similar to conch but not the same thing.
Seeing the conchs makes me think of my paternal grandfather. As always Ria, thanks for the recipe. -Onika
My pleasure Onika. Good to hear from you.
it is so good to see how much you dedicate yourself to making good videos like this! Her hands remind me of a fairy godmother orchestrating her magic wand making her charms! that's how I see you! When you're cooking. I'm watching her videos here in Brazil, my dear friend 💋💋💋💋😘

It's a delicacy! Very common and inexpensive in the Dominican Republic where it's called Lambi.

OMG! You were in Turks and Caicos!! I am a Trini and I have been living here for 16 years+ now. The conch farm was unfortunately badly damaged from hurricane Irma and was never rebuilt since.
That’s terrible, sorry to hear. We absolutely loved Turks and Caicos. It is one of our favorite vacation
destinations and we definitely want to visit again. Our teens have been begging to return. 👍🥰
I used to go to singhs in queens for my trinifood
Yup that’s one of the spots for good food. 👍

Thats Wilks not conch
Sold as conchs in the fish market. We call it small conchs in Trinidad. Different variations same recipe and method of cooking.
Your aunty Jang nails is well manicured
She was very happy and proud of it and would be glad someone noticed. I am ashamed to say mine never see the salon or color -because I would be judged and condemned if I wear nail polish in my videos. 😀
