Goede uitleg trouwens maar ben wel nieuwsgierig geworden hoe je aan die 94% komt van de mensen die niet zouden weten hoe er mee om te gaan.
Digital calipers have both their pros and cons + Easier to read, less risk for misreadings, especially if your eyesight isn't so good. + Can be reset to zero everywhere on the scale, easier to measure differences in lenght without doing calculations. - Need batteries. You need a spare battery to be sure it works. - More fragile. Dropping them in water or oil could "kill" them even if they're supposed to be water proof, especially the cheaper ones.

Das habe ich genauso 1973 bei Mercedes Benz in Kiel gelernt. War eine tolle Ausbildung. Gibt es heute nicht mehr.Alles nur noch bei Innungsbetrieben und überbetrieblicher Ausbildung.

Well, I am not in the "related industry" but I have five of them, four analog and one digital.😀 I guess every mechanic or machinist use them sometimes. Even farmers who repair and build some own equipment. Hard to replace a caliper with something else.
Commencez par désigner correctement les differentes parties du PAC et mesurer le fond de filet d'une vis MDR, vous ne parlez pas non plus du reglage du jeu du coulisseau sur la regle...

デジタルのヤツもアナログのも使うけど、親指のとこにストッパーが付いてるのは使ったことなかった。

It's pretty handy but personally I prefer the ones with a little wheel to move it. They feel more precise to use.
昔H社の試作品作成時に検査の方が、H社ではJISマークの無い測定器は測定器に有らずと言っていましたね、確かにアナログノギスはJISマーク有りますが、デジタルには有りませんでしたね

There is another measuring technique with a caliper. Since you didn't show it, I think you don't know it exactly either
