aww what a lovely new summer home for her!! great explanations and a super fun video :) ive heard a lot of varying takes on how much space an adult box turtle should have at the minimum for a year round enclosure, what's your opinion on it?
Typically people recommend an enclosure that's 10 times longer than the length of your turtle. I don't know if this tub meets that requirement, but it's definitely better than her indoor enclosure AND it was free so I'll take it 🤷♀️

Just built a 15’Lx6’Wx5’H for my desert box turtle that I’ve had outside since 1998. Dogs keep jumping over the 4 wood fence now I have yard out wire and post with wood framing. Turtle still wants to climb out. Nice to know a few plants Incan plant.
I tried planting real plants in my enclosure. He trampled the heck out of them lol! I told him, this is why we can’t have nice things!
