I was a center left Democrat for 50 years, but after what happened post "George Floyd" (the support and gaslighting for the "mostly peaceful" protests), I'd finally had enough. Defund the police, DEI, and refusing to marginalize "the squad" clarified things in a compelling way. Eight years ago, I could have never envisioned voting for Donald Trump. Now, I can't envision ever voting for a Democrat in a national election. I would have preferred a candidate other than Trump, but I now view the democrats as an existential threat to the United States, not just Israel. To your point about why there hasn't been a larger "defection" of Jews from the Democratic party to the GOP, it is because they either don't sense the danger that the democrats represent or are in a state of denial about it. And yes, Trump makes it harder to "defect", it took me several years to arrive at the point where I was "OK" with it. I still don't understand the GOP obsession with him, they had a number of much better options, but for me I've come to the point where if the GOP had nominated "Mr. Ham Sandwich", I would vote for it over any democrat.
Working class Americans really don't have much interest in candidates that would rather improve the lives of wealthy jewish aristocrats than improve the lives of Americans. We are tired of you controlling our lives.
I will write in pro-Israel Democrats for President and Vice President. Say, Sen. John Fetterman and Gov. Josh Shapiro. I don't expect that Shapiro will be Harris's running mate.
@@benqurayza7872 No, I don't, either. When push comes to shove, they won't have the cojones to give it to Shapiro. It sounds like they are leaning towards Kelly, very safe pick and could help in AZ.
@@benqurayza7872 I'm a working class American, I've worked in the construction industry for 35 years and none of the guys I've ever worked with would have wanted our tax dollars to go to some country on the other side of the planet to wage war over how to believe in the same god. I have very little sympathy for any of the people in your conflict and you certainly don't care about an American working class guy.
Better question is Bibi Netanyahu good for Israel? Wasn’t he on trial or about to begin trial when elected PM? The trial was put on hold. Many of us see him as Israel’s Donald Trump!
I'm extremely concerned about Harris vis-a-vis Israel. The "squad" and other hard left Hamas supporters in congress will be putting a lot of pressure on her if God forbid she wins. Her body language when shaking Netanyahu's hand was very distressing, she wouldn't even look him in the eye. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it.
Hamas killed 1200 innocent Israelis, that was not right. Israel has killed 38.000 innocent Palestinians, that was not right. Who is the real terrorist? Who wants to hear a war criminal tell more lies? Shameless Congress, no wonder they have a 12% approval.
The speech was vintage Netanyahu, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. It was a worn collection of tired cliches, There is a deal on the table, the vast majority of Israelis want it done, but there is a problem - on the one hand there is what the people of Israel and Gaza want, and on the other hand there is Netanyahu's and Sinwar's political survival. Sinwar has a chance, Netanyahu does not - because once the war is over, he thank g-d is finished. His career will be finished by the commission of inquiry, or by being torn between enormous pressure to then move forward with the Palestinians and the pressure from his frankenstein coalition.

I do not want to vote for Trump - but support for fundamental Islamisism is a greater existential threat than anything that Trump can do. Unless I see real support for Israel by Harris I may have to vote Republican ...

“Is Kamal Harris good for Israel?” was not answered in this interview. This was more of a Kamala Harris apologist: a whole lot of “BUT Kamala Harris”. Great video title, but no answers. Given how the interview ended the question: Does Kamala Harris lean progressive left with that side of the Democratic Party? Will she back Israel to utterly defeat Hamas? Will she back Israel if war breaks out in Lebanon? Will she back Israel if war breaks out with Iran? Will she reinstate a blockade of Iran, to end their nuclear ambitions?
Yes, one, because her husband is Jewish and travels and speaks out about antisemitism in America, two, she is a prosecutor and can actually plead a case. Which Donald Trump is showing signs of Alzheimer's which his father had, JD Vance opens mouth and inserts foot. So yes, my vote goes to the prosecutor and not the Criminal Felon who would not be allowed in many countries.
Maybe you should do some research Harris’ step daughter who is Jewish raised funds for Gaza - over 8 million. How much of that money was used to injure and kill Israeli soldiers. Harris will be bad for Isreal and the USA do not let your personal feelings cloud your judgement

If by your “Weird laugh?” question you meant the use of “weird laugh” by this interviewer was inappropriate, I agree. We need to end all these personal attacks which have nothing to do with the important truths to determining the best candidate for president. By the way, for full transparency sake, I am currently voting for Trump and not Harris, but it has nothing to do with either of their personalities. I chose my candidate based upon their policies.

Netanyahu went to visit Trump at Mar lago and spent the day in FL meeting went well
