    It is a cop out to reject the complex solutions. Using the unit circle it is possible to determine all of the solutions.

    (x^4)^2 ➖ (y^4)^2={x^16 ➖ y^16}={xy^0+xy ^0➖ }=xy^1 (xy ➖ 1xy+1).
    (xy ➖ 2xy+2).

    Not specified at beginning that only real solutions are sought. So, 6 non-real solutions are unjustly discarded. Lets list 'em.
    x⁴=4√5+8 ⇒ x=±iⁿ∜(4√5+8) for i=√(-1) & n=0,1 (so 4 choices of x)
    ⇒ y=±(-i)ⁿ∜(4√5-8) where the sign of "±" & the value of n for y are same as for x.
    So, we get 2 extra solutions above. Now, consider the equation rejected in the video.
    x⁴=8-4√5 ⇒ x=±j·iⁿ∜(4√5-8) for j=√i=(1+i)/√2 & n=0,1 (so 4 choices of x)
    ⇒ y=±j(-i)ⁿ⁺¹∜(4√5+8) where the sign of "±" & the value of n for y are same as for x.
    And these are 4 more solutions.
