Hi from Ireland, wow your missing out so much cool aespa, they have a sci fi lore where there is an ai reality, so i suggest in order watch their debut "black mamba", next level, savage, girls, superb setup and vocals, also the three short storyline mvs to explain lore, definitely do not miss out 2023 release " Drama" real cool video and song.
aespa's story starts with Black Mamba, as others have mentioned, every song from Black Mamba until Spicy tells a story about them combating an AI humanoid virus called Black Mamba, which was created from negative social media posts. On the other hand, each of them (as well as all humans in their storyline) have virtual counterparts called "aes" which were created by positive, but, edited to seem perfect posts, and which live in a plane of existence beyond the digital world called "KWANGYA". In between KWANGYA and the REAL WORLD there's a third plane of existence called THE FLAT, which is inhabited by Naevis, aespa's guide through KWANGYA whom opens the portal to KWANGYA. All of this is told through a series called SMCU which has three episodes thus far and they're all available on UA-cam. Long story short: there's a fourth plane of existence called KOSMO and there the rulers of KWANGYA live. Since Naevis has defied their orders not to leave KWANGYA, they cast her out of the FLAT into the REAL WORLD which causes strange timespace related phenomena to pop up in Spicy and that's where the story of Supernova happened. The aespa in Supernova is not aespa, they're a parallel universe AI-human hybrids which wreak havoc until they create a black hole which leads them to the Armageddon universe, taking so called "Superbeings" (those large figures) with them. In it, the original aespa try to combat the partially AI versions of themselves, but, the Superbeings envelop them in the AI miasma. It sounds crazy, but, watching SMCU explains everything, promise.
