I had tix to this show and didn't go because I was afraid of catching "the 'rona." Some people might think that's stupid, but I'm around my elderly parents a lot and I don't regret the fact that I wanted to try to keep them safe. (Plus, I didn't want to get sick! Who wants that?!) Somewhat ironically, I saw EC 5 months after this show, feeling much more confident about being in public, and...I got COVID! 🤦♀Knock on wood, it's the only time I've had it and, thankfully, I didn't spread it to anyone. (It also wasn't that bad, thanks to the vax. I got RSV a few months later and that really sucked!) But this concert will always kind of be "the one that got away." (For the record, I've seen EC live approximately 50 times, so I'm OK with my decision.)
