Not much has changed. Biggest thing that has been upgraded was higher volume Air Conditioning. Here is video we did: ua-cam.com/video/xIrDge7hQiY/v-deo.htmlsi=mjzx4Ki6_r3-AjNp
Great video! You did a great job and explained the tractors features very well. I’d like to see you do a video comparing the 5700 series to the 6600 series the same way.
We have plans on 5700 Global versus 6700 Global Series coming soon. I also would like to shoot a 5700S versus 6700S but there are lots of differences in transmission differences but will try to do that when get our next shipment of 5700S series we are sold out right now.
In United States Factory Front 3-Point & PTO are not an Option. Aftermarket like Zuidberg may offer something but not factory installed on the 4700 or Global Series
Excellent comparison. Those are some monster tractors with plenty of beef and power. The 5711 at 10K pounds...Whew!. Thanks and ....Happy New Year! Have a fine week.
Thanks for the comments. But we only in the Middle of the Pack of Massey Ferguson's they get much, much larger all the way to 400 HP and over 25,000# Models. Massey if a full line manufacturer. Thanks for watching and watch for more videos coming soon.
I drove a MF 1100 back in the eighties on a potato farm. Would these tractors have similar pulling power? What the the largest back tire available on the the 5700? 38"? Thank you for the excellent video.
the 6700 Global Series would be more similar in size to the 1100 at 104 PTO HP. You can get the 16.9R38 Rears on the 5700 series. Thanks for the comments.
If we get both instock at the same time that is on the list of Videos to do. If we can keep them instock long enough to get a video done. Love to do that one for sure.
Do you need to order from a local dealer? Reason I ask is we have a small massey dealer within 60 Mike's, but they stock smaller equipment so u imagine their isn't much if a deal to be had there. Seems like yall want to sell and stock mid utility tractors
Selling Dealer is responsible for the Warranty Repair. We limit to where we sell based on how far we can Service our customers needs which is 60 miles of Higginsville, MO.
Ok bigfoot here again, on the 4700 vs 5700 size 17 my shoe length is 16” from base of seat on the floor towards pedals. What is the length between these two? Also on these two is there any 0% or cash back options for 2019/20 years on these two? Awesome video by the way👍 keep it up.
15 1/2" from front of pedal to Rubber Mat in front of Seat Base. There is Low Rate Financing Option and Cash Programs with the OneRate Finance Options. You need to look at both to see which is lowest cost of ownership. Many times the Cash with OneRate is better deal than losing the cash rebates and taking low rate finance like 0%. It's not free financing.
They have not formally announced but forsee that the future model number for the 5700 Global to help differentiate it from the S Series Tractors. kind of confusing now with the same or similar models in different series. Thanks for watching & commenting!
5700 Global is still the current model nomenclature for North America. Europe they have upgraded model to the 5700M to represent tractors that meet the European Stage 5 Emission Level Requirements. Not sure if North America will go to stage 5 but sure we will see a transition to the "M" in the Future as all models of Massey Ferguson Tractors are using a common letter to help customers identify feature levels of tractors. "E" id our Basic Efficient model not many bells & whistles, "M" Mid-Spec Tractors with added technologies but still economical in price, "S" Series are the Superior Features, Superior Performance, Superior Technology and Superior Comfort Models...when you want the absolutely Best then "S" Series is your tractor but it also comes with the highest price. Many don't need that and that is where the E & M Series comes in. There is no 5700 "E" series tractors.
I have a question about the transmission's do the 4700's or the 5700's use the same transmissions that were used in the older Massey Ferguson 492 or 491 cab tractors?
Approximately $2,000 (Cash Programs $1700) between models. Why we sell mainly 4710 and 4707 models. Once you go to 4708 or 4709 not much more to go to 4710 and have more horseopower. Saves a bunch gas & def when you have more horsepower than needed and can run at lower RPM or utilize economy PTO.
4700, 5700 & 6700 Global Series offer the same 12x12 PowerShuttle Transmission. 6 Gears with 2 Ranges. I do not think it is the same as 400 Series. Now the 5700 Global also offers the Dyna4 Transmission as an option too.
Horsepower and Max Horsepower makes a Big Difference especially under heavy loads. When you pull a tractor down you don't want it losing Horsepower. On the 5700 Series it actually gains horsepower from rated PTO Speed. AGCO Power 4 Cylinder Motor has more lugging power. But not everyone needs that for the added costs. 4710 doesn't lose Horsepower so it's better than many engines. 4 Cylinder Motor is going to cost more than a 3 Cylinder Motor - More Components = More Dollars.
@@VahrenbergImplement yes,i know all of that, but if you have 3 cyl and 4cyl with same power difference is in weight, dimensions(overall and tires),so bigger tractor has bigger pulling power and that is adventage. For me is smaller tractor with more power better because i need it for allaround jobs and it is more economical.
That is why Massey Ferguson Offers Different Model Sizes in the same Horsepower Class. Not everyone needs the Bigger Tractor of the 5700 Series or you could even go up to the Premium Full Featured 5700S Series with similar Engine HP but a lot more dollars. If size makes a difference the 4700 is lower to the ground, smaller tires, a little less weight but similar 100 Engine HP in the 4710 Model as the 5710.
There is more than just 1 More Cylinder engine, Cab Floor is different Flat versus humped, Larger Tires and Wheels, Longer Wheel Base, 1,367# Heavier Base Tractor Weight, 2860# more 3 Point Lift Capacity, 540, 540 Economy & 1000 PTO Standard on 5700 Global, 26 GPM Twin Flow Hydraulics versus 17.7 GPM on 4700. Larger Fuel Capacity and more.
Excellent comparison. So clear and easy to understand.Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching!
Hey yall did a great review and it's really appreciated, transparency and all.
Thank you so much 🤗
What changed between the older 4700 and 5700 to the newest style that is out now?
Not much has changed. Biggest thing that has been upgraded was higher volume Air Conditioning. Here is video we did: ua-cam.com/video/xIrDge7hQiY/v-deo.htmlsi=mjzx4Ki6_r3-AjNp
Massey really has some nice features. Looks like a good machine. I am going to look at one today in person.
They have lots of Features for the Dollar. Need to really look at what all your getting for the price. Massey Ferguson gives you more.
Great video! You did a great job and explained the tractors features very well. I’d like to see you do a video comparing the 5700 series to the 6600 series the same way.

Can I get a 3 point hitch , pto and hydraulic connection option on the front of these 2 tractors ? 4710 and 5710 ?
In United States Factory Front 3-Point & PTO are not an Option. Aftermarket like Zuidberg may offer something but not factory installed on the 4700 or Global Series
Awesome video. Im sold.

Is the massey trctor 47 57 hund is equip with airvondition?
4700 & 5700 Cab models are standard equipped with Air Conditioning.
Excellent job on comparison! Thank you very much!
Thanks for taking the time to comment and watch our video. Glad it helped.

You could compare torque rise % when running max RPM.
That is an excellent idea but I did not have those numbers prepared when producing the video. Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching.
Is the 5700 going to be changing to the 5700M permanently
