I disliked it. I thought it sounded cheesy and country. It changed the feeling of the whole song for the worse IMO.
i disliked it, because why would someone think this song deserved a cover?? you make a cover when everyone already half-forgotten the original, not when its a current song (and on top a boring one)

So when I saw this I was like, you're covering a song that's pretty much still current? Then curiosity got the better of me and I'm glad it did. I've never heard a hurdy gurdy as a lead on a metal song, but it sounds great. Between that and the lighter vocals you took Iron Maiden's gothic almost religious sound on this song(gnostic?), and made it folksy and kind of pagan. I guess the word I'm looking for is FEY. Nicely done!

Your years of music training, concert experience, music production and precision tuned instruments are creating a new dawn for this instrument.
I've been a Maiden fan for literally (in it's proper sense) decades. I much more recently discovered Michalina.
This combination, covering an absolutely brilliant song, is one of the most amazing I've encountered in a very long time.
