    Nice! I've ben expecting for a shell like that. Pretty sure it's the future of tattoo machine batteries. I like the modularity.

    • @adamdarklord
      @adamdarklord  Рік тому

      Definitely all batteries like this should follow what Musotoku is doing and make the cell removable!

      @@adamdarklord I don't know if Critical and the likes will be quick to jump on the bandwagon though as it is probably less profitable for them... until they are forced to do it due to eventual competition I imagine.

    Been using this with my sol nova 2 2.5 it runs great but the battery life only lasts for about 2 hours at 10 volts which is where I like my speed at that’s not so great but they work well. I’m happy with them

      Hey man,
      I was just watching some of your videos the other day!
      I’m most excited for the power bar feature for comparison to other machines but yeah 3 hours at the very max and it’s a bitch to switch the battery in the middle of a tattoo. I’ll say more about it in my SOL Nova 2 video

      I’ve been waiting for this because their power supply pushes the cleanest power I’ve experienced. Two to three hours of life though? I’m all set. I’ve been through two sets of the larger Critical batteries in 14 months. I’m now getting an hour out of one and less than two hours out of the other. I love being untethered but I still do my primary line work with coils so I’ll stick with a cord for now.
      Having a battery pack on a pen machine makes it too wonky for me anyway. I mainly use an Inkjecta Nano for everything but my primary outline so a battery doesn’t look or feel too bad whey they actually work.
      It sucks because in the beginning I was getting like 10 hours out of each battery.

    Hi man. One question. For you is it better then Critical? Thinking to order one for my Sol nova. Critical is ok for now butt i see people have some problem with Critical (not me for now). Cheyenne battery was not for me. So is it better then Critical? Regards.

      The battery only last about 3 hours…. If they made one that lasted 6-8 it would be better

    Hey does anyone know what happens if I put a musotoku on my powerwand ? Or do I really need the OG wand for that to work ?
    Thanks in advance 🙏🏽

      You would need the rca powerwand adapter to use the Musotoku battery on it!

    Where are the Fkn memory settings on these £400 batteries
    Seriously C’mon the chips that are used in tattoo batteries are basic as fuck. it’s ridiculous how a £60 vape device chip has more functions than a £400 tattoo battery

      @adamdarklord  Рік тому +1

      @@michaelhervin6049 Feels a slight bit top heavy mostly if you’re used to the cell built into the machine. It’s a 1400mah battery so life on it is around 3 hours at 9volts and 7 hours at 5volts. Definitely have to replace the battery half way through a full day session.

      @@adamdarklordthat’s terrible if it can’t last a whole day on 8/9 volts which isn’t even that much. Criticals last all day no need to replace or charge.
