When you say realist you got to understand that in hindsight it’s easy to talk this way but if you are riding an L plate your outlook is totally different. I know because I have Bredrens riding L plates and they regret everything. All this real one talk I get but it’s easy to say in hindsight. Some get gripped in the dock some buss case. Riding 30+ years in those dispersals ain’t no joke, I can’t speak from experience but I can speak from hearing stories from my dawgs who are fighting for their lives every other day in the dispersals, bare sharks in their ready to drop man on a daily basis for no other reason than stripes in the system. Don’t get me wrong I rate boost as an artist and a person, I rate SP too, these man talk sense, but it’s a lot easier to be portrayed as real when you are a free man. The reality of the situation is that if you get gripped and catch a L plate you are pretty much fucked. Not even for the reasons of rehabilitation or what not, more because you are fighting to stay alive half of the time in those dispersals unless you place yourself on the nonce wing which would obviously come with its own set of issues.
I ain’t seen a lot of these interviews but I always got time to hear Boost I have to say though, this guy is a COLD facilitator - really knows how to interview and converse with guests Need to check out more of these vids
