I just made a terrazzo floor in my kitchen. Used hand grinder and than hand polisher. Total 20 hours of grinding and polishing. Tip: most important part is to level the terrazzo/concrete floor. After it cures just use pattern to grind it and be very consistent with it, so there will be no significant dips or ups.
