He should have implied and called Murphy out, but you can’t call him out when his daughter dancing and doing the same thing Murphy is doing. That church was out of order

Sheard can’t take a hard stance because his wife was produced by missy elliot, his son was secular and used to hang out in clubs with secular artists, etc.
No, playing secular music that doesn’t glorify God IN the church is different than working with secular artists to make gospel songs. Also, he can’t control the actions of his gown adult son. He can only continue to preach to him as he’s always done. And his son seems to only work on gospel music now.
Did not his staff clear the PROPS with Bishop Sheard before his service? How ironic that Murphy would have a service that night with a club setting. Oh well, It needed to be said regardless. Still stand. Murphys Church was not the only one setting up for the NYE celebration.
There shouldn't have been a response. It looks as if he is backtracking & thos isnt the 1st time he has made a statement because he doesn't want to offend anybody! The WORD is offensive to us all & it is the measure by which we try to live holy! If he was going to make any statement, it should've been what my grandfather, who was a Bishop use to say, "If the shoe fit, wear it!"

Ain't nobody dumb. Bishop Sheard did take a shot at Bishop Murphy. He just thought people were too stupid to catch onto what he said. He needs to stand on business and stop retracting what he said and have other men speaking on his behalf. He's only digging himself in a deeper hole.

Bishop Sheared is responsible for himself and his word to God his dedication to God and the responsibility to his Church and all those he presided over.
He is not responsible for his wife dedication to God and daughter and son
He can be the example and they can follow but if not you cannot hold him accountable for their other relationships in the industry or anything else
