That last one - Bryn just had the wrong strat on it. She should have used her remaining open spots to farm letters and call it a win if she guessed it at all. On custom wordles, it should be about who gets it first (but still figure out the word no matter who loses) for the round, if whoever wins that round gets a point type of scoring system.
