+JJ JJ , These are laminated guitars. Each ply is about .024" thick so they are very pliable and bend easily into shape without heat/steam. For the acoustic guitars and semi-hollowbody guitars I build, I use solid wood about .080" thick and in this case, it is the classic process, a little moisture and a hot bending iron. I bend by hand using a template as a reference and a cooling/drying fixture.
These are surely well built and versatile guitars but I just don't get the marketing : All I hear is one-dimensional, reverb and echo drenched pickin' - are these instruments solely meant for retro rockabilly fiends who'd normally only look at Gretsch guitars ? Please showcase them with a player who can demonstrate their different tones using an amp that everybody is familiar with !
How much for the templates and jigs
Sorry but the templates and jigs are not for sale at this moment.
Do you have a price sheet for your guitars, or should I email you?
