    OMG This is amazing, thank you so much!
    Just one question: what do the Curve Closest Point and the Sort List do for the end result?
    And also, what is the purpose of flattening the Points output of the Divide Surface command?

      To get distances from the points to edge and reorder points by their distances. Flatten put all points in the same data group.

    Thanks for this tutorial! Super useful. By chance you happen to know how I can extract the items on the list that are not there? Like the opposite gradient that isn’t seen? So that I can match two colors in the gradient

      Try using bigger number in Jitter and Multiplication node.
