Paul is exactly like you Dan old son , your always trying out ideas , you are so alike in many ways , he’s also very likable as are you , he’s got lots of little nuggets to learn from . I am loving your own vids with mincey he’s a great sidekick for you ,and not a bad golfer to boot . 23rd is my birthday also
What an enlightening video.I am a 58 year old 5 handicapper and my bag has reg, stiff and x stiff shafts in it.Really liking you and Paul just talking golf.
Thats was awesome ty guys!!!seem like good people ,, Humble which is the key !!! I love the old school mentality,, not around anymore !!! That said I suck iam a bogey golfer and my bag and clubs cost 5 times his bag ,,go to show you its the Indian not arrow, bravo 👏👏👏well done guys and best of luck to you both!!! Karma boys karma good things come to good people!!! You guys seem like very good people thanks again!!!!
I remember watching Paul win the PGA. These videos with him are awesome. I will pull for from this point on. Come over to Bandon Dunes and play all 5 courses + the Preserves Par 3.
Your bro has backed up how I feel about kit as well, I was very happy watching this...! I use a Cleveland Classic driver from 2012 and I've been and demo'd newer drivers and nothing compares to my Classic driver! New kit doesn't mean better, also shaft flex differs so much, I've got a mixture of S and X flexes in my bag purely on feel and performance, nothing else! Great video, thanks Dan and Paul... 👍🏻👌🏻
Great to see a WITB with a pro carrying older clubs and not really sure what’s in there!! And fantastic to see him not just swapping in for the latest models 👍
So many lessons for us amateurs. Shaft weight being the obvious one for me personally. I have reg irons but everything else stiff, except 58 which is tour issue stiff. They seem to all work well. Can really understand what Paul is about, trust in the equipment is key here. Top player and we mere mortals should learn massively from this WITB. Well done Dan for bringing this to the channel.
I think a lot of people would enjoy you doing a video on how you use the tournament books during a round and the notes you take during practice rounds. Great videos keep them coming
Fascinating to listen to someone who knows his game inside out. Question to both of you “Can you ever have too much knowledge of your game? Is it easier sometimes to let if just flow, or does that come naturally in tournament play? These might sound silly questions, but remember, they come from a 13 handicap golfer.
Really interesting video showing how much companies advertising and to some degree some fitters can mislead golfers. I’ve just been fitted with new irons and had heavier shafts fitted to help keep the ball lower as I tend to balloon the ball high and lose distance.
Thanks for introducing us to your brother Dan. Best of luck in the tournament. I'm still gaming Titleist 910 H hybrids as well. I know exactly what they'll do so I don't see a need to change them.
Good insight guys and refreshing to hear Paul using a 4 year old driver because he can't find anything to be at his existing one - really good message - the next 4 weeks are going to be fascinating and insightful - getting excited for the tournament already!!!
Wow, that is a proper mixed bag. Still if it works then that’s the main thing. All the best boys, looking forward to the build up and then see how Paul does in the competition! 👍
Best WITB I've seen as unlike most tour pros, he really knows his clubs, most just know the distances ! Dan, if you remember, Jordan came back with a different number (45 I think) until he proved to himself he was still good enough to wear 23. That means you're on a weeks trial ! So you're the magpie with your shiny clubs whilst Paul is the scientist tweaking what he knows suit him. Tell him he needs to add 2 stone in muscle too !
Really interesting to hear from a top level, but down to earth Professional, talking about the ins and outs of filling a golf bag. Good message to all the 'magpie' golfers out there (myself included). Cheers Dan and good luck to Paul for the season.
Hi Dan Just watch one of yr brothers sort video ref weak left hand grip it was simple but brilliant, i always thought the right hand v between finger and thumb had to be pointing at yr right shoulder not yr left hand , great bit of info from Paul hope he really does well in his invitation to nice guy .
Loved the in-depth discussion! Paul's explanation of the lead tape to steady the putter throughout the stroke will get me to try the same thing, as my stroke tends to wander a bit. Thumbs up on his round putter grip, as that's what has helped my putting over the past year. Thx for the WITB, Dan!
Very very interesting. Love the fact that he plays with equipment that works, I will def follow that ethos in future. I am the biggest tinkerer ever but not for the right reasons
Great content again from a very knowledgeable and honest pair. I’ve obviously got no problem if someone wants and can afford expensive, shiny things to go in their bag, best of luck to you but us on a budget can still turn you over with older gear. Especially if a bit of thought is put into it. Good luck Paul, get out there and smash it.
Great to hear the reasoning and logic behind Paul's club choice decisions. It all makes sense when he explained it. Best of luck to Paul in the future.
Will struggle to find any driver better than the 2016 M2, I recently upgraded the shaft in mine to a Project X Evenflow Red 6.0 45g which added several more yards.
Good WITB... gotta be fun to share this with your brother. My brother and I still play together fairly often and it’s great. Not in tour events or anything, but it’s still great. Good luck in the tournament.
Also if you want round putter grips, look at Edel putters. The edel fitters are a big fan of round grips. That’s what I got fitted for by them and I love it.
Being confident with every club in your bag removes the indecision when playing shots, there is a lot to consider when playing serious golf and mastering what you can control allows you to focus on the course and conditions. Paul is very comfortable with his game and ability I hope he plays well at FOA. Very interesting WITB review. Will you be able to film some of the rounds when you caddy?
What really interesting insight into Paul's bag... Its amazing how much you can tinker with your clubs... Your brother seems so down to earth, what a nice chap.. Good luck to u both when Paul starts the English open in month... Ps hope Lester mentions West ham beating Chelsea on the Sunday morning show 😝
Love this Dan ...so interesting listening to a top player describe he's bag it's so so precise 😱 it proves this game is of tight margins ...Paul good luck with your game will follow closely 👍👍👍
That's a bag of pick n mix for sure...Best of luck to you both at FOA. I love the Callie putter, I got it cos that's my daughter's name, I love her too 😂
The interesting bit for me was the lead weighting strip on the putter, Paul said it helped him take his putter back without wobbling about too much, something that I struggle with, so something else to "tinker" with, cheers.
Give it a go, I found after putting a thicker grip on the head felt like a feather on the end of a stick. I'm so used to to that heavy feel now that I've stopped picking up putters in the pro shop before a round😁
I highly agree with Paul! Sticking to something you know that will perform is highly important because at the end of the day technology hasn’t changed that much in the last couple imo, the last 2 years I’ve pretty much changed everything in my bag and now I’ll probably not change anything for another 3 or 4 years unless something is able to outperform anything in my bag! Very good video dan I really enjoyed that one!!
- gapping the clubs to 13 yards is exactly what i've done - i would suggest more people do this as it gives you another club - I also do the X shaft 5 wood and the S in the 3 wood - perfect combo in my opinion - also have an M2 that I still game occasionally - it is a 11 launch 2200 spin machine - actually wish it launched slightly higher - at the pro level you make a living in the 200-240 part of your bag so not surprising he carries a hybrid and a 4/5 wood, the lofts seem a little close but shaft length may take care of the gapping - and a heavy shafted 100g hybrid is something more players should use for accuracy
@@neilfarmer6609 I think what you'll find if you re-watch some of Mark's diatribes on shafts is that his point is that it doesn't make as big a difference as people think. Strike is King. Hitting a low heel vs a high toe will affect spin and launch far more than any shaft will. Mark has said many times that shafts can help 'fine tune' your game. Somebody at Paul's level clearly needs that. Us mere mortals are not consistent enough for it to make a difference :)
majorwhiz Fair enough - I over simplified to make my point. Agree that strike is the key factor but getting right head and shaft can really maximise launch. And I think it makes a difference for many of us, not just the pros. A lot of golfers have equipment that make things harder than it needs to be. I swapped to more forgiving irons and a slightly shorter, stiffer driver shaft and it improved things for me on a monitor and at the course. To really improve scores I probably need to spend hours each week just working on wedges - that’ll have to wait til retirement!
Paul’s exactly like of friend on the PGA Tour...when I ask him the specs on his clubs he just shrugs his shoulder and looks at me funny..🤣...all he knows is how the work for him!!
Paul is exactly like you Dan old son , your always trying out ideas , you are so alike in many ways , he’s also very likable as are you , he’s got lots of little nuggets to learn from . Loved that! Really good video Dan! 👍
Always enjoy watching this video of Paul's WITB because of the variety of clubs in his bag.
Good luck to Paul!

Really interesting. Proper gapping is probably what most of us amateurs do most poorly. Very idiosyncratic bag there. Loved it.
Dan Great Video
Last 2 videos gave been great .
Really informative without blinding with science.
Hope you and Paul have a 4 day trip to the Forest of Arden
Good one Dan. Plenty of info.
Awesome video Dan , good luck to both Paul and yourself in the tournament 😉🏌️♂️⛳️🍻

Best in the bag I have seen. great content

Really interesting that, thanks Dan.
That's a proper bag of clubs
Thanks Dan! Loved it
A masterclass in how to build your bag. Just wish i had a trackman haha!
Great WITB.
One of the best and most interesting WITB I’ve seen 👊🏻👏🏼👊🏻👏🏼
Coupla lovely boys. Excellent stuff.
Found it Dan!
Quality video guys 👍
Of course Paul hits it low he’s a Hendriksen!
Really interesting that Paul uses 'older' clubs like the M2 as they are tried and tested rather than new fangled clubs
Fascinating to listen to someone who knows his game inside out. Question to both of you “Can you ever have too much knowledge of your game? Yep, loved that bit of content
Great video
About the best "what's in the bag" video I've seen.
Very Interesting, nice to know that Paul is using a 4/5 year old driver.
Whoa. Not the iron shafts I was expecting.
Really interesting video thanks Dan 👍

Really enjoying this series with your brother, hope there will be more
Great vid, really enjoying these fascinating insights into your bro’s game. Keep them coming please!
Good insight guys and refreshing to hear Paul using a 4 year old driver because he can't find anything to be at his existing one - really good message - the next 4 weeks are going to be fascinating and insightful - getting excited for the tournament already!!!
Interesting to hear Paul talk his way through the bag and the reasons why he uses that club
Love the Taylormade M2 I think they are awesome
Agree 100% with the M2 2016- I just can’t beat it... through no lack of trying
Ahhh the TM M2 2016 such a good driver amazing really from what's come after that
Absolutely brilliant! Love the interaction between the two of you, and Paul is a proper tinkerer! Really enjoyed the WITB with him!
Played Forest of Arden today. Good course. The fairways are carpety wedge heaven. You can really feel them in.
Another Yes Callie player, there are dozens of us! I just got rid of my 17° 910 hybrid too. Paul’s got great taste in clubs!
Quality in the bag 👍
I have that hybrid shaft in a 3 wood version. Stiff. Best shaft I've ever used!!
Love it!! He is a true pro. You two should play against Crossy and coach. You would crush them hahaha
Get up Paul Ha. Love his mind set on clubs. it doesn't do what it says on the tin, He gets them to what he needs. great vid.
Wow, that is a proper mixed bag. Still if it works then that’s the main thing. All the best boys, looking forward to the build up and then see how Paul does in the competition! 👍
He sounds like My Golf Spy. :)

Loved this Dan , showed a different side of golf
Really interesting to hear from a top level, but down to earth Professional, talking about the ins and outs of filling a golf bag. Good message to all the 'magpie' golfers out there (myself included). Cheers Dan and good luck to Paul for the season.
Absolutely love his experience with the M2, so many other anecdotal accounts of that being a beast of a club!
Yes! Victoria in my bag for the last 18 years. Backup is a Yes! Callie.
Great video!
Hi Dan
Just watch one of yr brothers sort video ref weak left hand grip it was simple but brilliant, i always thought the right hand v between finger and thumb had to be pointing at yr right shoulder not yr left hand , great bit of info from Paul hope he really does well in his invitation to nice guy .

Member of the forest of Arden pal. These greens are firm!!!
I’m on the exact same page as paul I love low bounce on my wedges
Very very interesting. Love the fact that he plays with equipment that works, I will def follow that ethos in future. I am the biggest tinkerer ever but not for the right reasons
Interested to see light shafts,, just did similar with great results and feel,, 🤔😊
Great content again from a very knowledgeable and honest pair. Especially if a bit of thought is put into it. Good luck Paul, get out there and smash it.
Very interesting Dan, the shaft business is a little lost on me though, but if it feels right go with it.
Great video I find it really interesting listening to what good players like Paul have in there bag and why they use them.
Paul Hendriken, the tinker man.see why he has no idea about half his clubs 😂 Good to see a pro who doesn't just have shinny new clubs 👍
Great to hear the reasoning and logic behind Paul's club choice decisions. It all makes sense when he explained it. Best of luck to Paul in the future.
I’m an old man 😆 50 and my driver shaft is 50g and I’ve got light shafts in my irons. Anything to help get that swing speed up. Great witb 👍
Love the detail !! And how it’s all about what how the perform and how the player feels with them rather than anything else !!
Great content. As others have said a real insight into why the variations and not just looking at the club head and shaft etc. 👍👍
Will struggle to find any driver better than the 2016 M2, I recently upgraded the shaft in mine to a Project X Evenflow Red 6.0 45g which added several more yards.
Wow that was an insight lol that’s fantastic if you able to tinker that much with your clubs to get them just right
Such an entertaining and educating video! Great work
Good WITB... gotta be fun to share this with your brother. My brother and I still play together fairly often and it’s great. Not in tour events or anything, but it’s still great. Good luck in the tournament.

Not sure, I’m hoping to make something for everyone to see 👍
Dan Hendriksen Golf “Hat Cam” with a lot of editing 🤷🏻♂️
Good video if I had been more patient yesterday I’d not have asked about the large rangefinder, good job you pros have big bags.
Get up Paul?? runs in the family eh?? nice vlog Dan!!
Paul had a fan, i'm going to follow him 👏🏌
What really interesting insight into Paul's bag... Its amazing how much you can tinker with your clubs... Your brother seems so down to earth, what a nice chap.. Good luck to u both when Paul starts the English open in month... Ps hope Lester mentions West ham beating Chelsea on the Sunday morning show 😝
Very interesting insight into your brothers bag. Is he all ways that chilled.
No, only when I’m around 😂
Love this Dan ...so interesting listening to a top player describe he's bag it's so so precise 😱 it proves this game is of tight margins ...Paul good luck with your game will follow closely 👍👍👍
Love WITB content!! Especially when it’s a pro who can get things us mere mortals have relatively little to no access to!!!
I have the exact same setup with MB and x forged irons....Love em
That's a bag of pick n mix for sure...Best of luck to you both at FOA.
I love the Callie putter, I got it cos that's my daughter's name, I love her too 😂
Interesting, I've just put a Ping G15 4 wood in my bag because it performs and feels better than my Titleist TS2 5 wood, or my Titlest 917 4 wood,
The interesting bit for me was the lead weighting strip on the putter, Paul said it helped him take his putter back without wobbling about too much, something that I struggle with, so something else to "tinker" with, cheers.

Wow Dan, I've been looking for a completely round putter grip for years. What is Paul's putter grip? Make, manufacturer, where to buy... Anyone?
Same with my 2016 M2 ! Although the speed zone is close this year
