      Maybe in singles. Anna Lee is basically from another planet with her precision, pace, and overall skill level.
      Second to none and very dangerous even against virtually any of the top men players as well.

      I’m less convinced of this than a year ago. These top level pros get more high level tournament reps than any of the newcomers. Sure, they might have a run here or there, but it’ll take several months to a year of playing before they are consistently winning tournaments. There may be an exception or two to this, but I’m guessing most tennis players will take longer than expected to challenge current top pros.

    • @brittanyblassingill
      @brittanyblassingill Рік тому +1

      @@nickfuller8459 Well yeah, I don't think most people are saying that a tennis player would be able to pick up a paddle day 1 and dominate. It'll take time for sure. Tyra is a prime example - she's been playing less than a year and still has so much to learn. But she'll be a force once it all clicks for her.

    • @nickfuller8459
      @nickfuller8459 Рік тому

      @@brittanyblassingill ALW and Ben Johns are still picking up high level reps faster than any other pro. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tyra didn’t win much for a bit, especially as pros learn how she plays and how to beat her. She’ll be good, but it’ll take a year for her to be consistently making podiums in singles, most likely. Doubles will be even longer.

    In case yall are wondering, Pickleball is way more mental than people give it credit. Alw let her errors get the best of her. Immature response. She clearly felt like she beat herself hence the sarcastic celebration. She pretty much said "whoopdee doo i played bad and that is why i lost not because Tyra played well". Hopefully her mom helps her learn how to handle losing better cause everyone who competes has to learn to lose w grace. Most of the time, losing with grace is not going to be easy. But as better players come into this developing sport, these average players who are considered the 'top' of the game will be pushed out. I don't think Tyra Black played that well, but most of the time put the pressure on at the right time. The proof of not handling that pressure was Anna's screaming at the end, throwing her racquet at her Mom and being basically, a lunatic. She was upset because she played terrible(for her). She made more continuous unforced errors than she does in a whole tournament. Something seemed wrong. It looks almost like she gave the match away. Congrats Tyra, and AL, you're still the best in the game in my book.

    Anna you just had an off day during this match which can happen to anyone. But you are still the best. study this video and learn from what happened and ask yourself what would you do differently if you could play this match over again to beat her so that you can become even a better player the next time you too play. Remember how you handle defeat and how you handle a win should always be the same. A person's character is alway much more important than a person talent. It is a person's character by their actions that defines a person. And in my eyes you will always be the best and no one will ever accomplish what you have accomplished. Your legacy will be defined by your accomplishments and by how you treated your opponents when defeated. Respect, honor and integrity are always more important then anything else, no matter what happens. Clear your mind and play each point and donot focus on the score.
