"Your eyes betray you..." "You get dem blues. Darlin', I know you do" Hareka is the only SBG with blue eyes (and the only person with blue eyes that it reasonably could be) How did it take me over a year after _The Chase_ released to figure that out
This is flat-out amazing, as always. I think I can follow the detective's train of thought leading to Hareka now. She's connected to Nori, and possibly related to another one of the charity workers(Same hairstyle), as is Morime(Same uniform). In the first alibi picture, it looks like the rest of the Star Blush girls are all facing Hareka, and away from the building. From their body language it looks like Hareka is explaining something to them that they might not be happy about. In the second alibi picture this is harder to see, but is still there. The idea that Nori's charity event is connected to both Morime and Hareka makes me feel like he's pulling the strings here, and that he may have something he's been holding over Hareka after their initial confrontation. Might be the future of the Star Blush Girls since he's in on the idol rigging, or related to her family if her father/older brother is working for Nori. If this is true, then it's possible that Hareka knew something was going to happen and found an excuse to get her friends outside before the bomb went off. EDIT: I just noticed it's not just one, but both of the hairstyles in Hareka's family photo match the charity staff. This only reinforces my idea. I only have two questions now. What is Nori planning, and who set off the bomb? The witnesses heard a match. DD's friend is seen talking to Nori in this pic, and is a skilled inventor. He may have been able to tamper with the cameras to get rid of the evidence, and the blast would have destroyed any evidence of the bomber. My theory is that Nori is using the idol bombimg event as leverage to shake up the framework of the idol rigging so he can take it over and eventually either tear it down from the top or run it himself, and he's made promises to ensure things go how he wants them to. Hareka ended up stuck in the middle, and did her best to protect her friends, which backfired and made them targets of outrage. This had a huge effect on her ability to even trust people, which is why when Cole shows up she struggles to try and bond with him and learn how to trust again.
I have this feeling that nori is the culprit, just as you do, but I couldn't really explain it. I guess I met the 2nd detective detective in the comments c: Bad english
Although the line "I know you're keeping silent but I pray you change your mind." implies it can't be Hareka because Hareka already spoiled that she knows Nori was involved in some rigging, and that doesn't fit for someone hiding that they are somehow responsible for the bombing. If anything, I think the fact that Hareka approached the Detective with that evidence eliminates her entirely from the running, and this song's lyrics further confirm it. Ultimately, though, you're working off a ton of author meta direction. How many videos have featured X character as a main character, or featured them prominently. That character will probably have the most evidence for and against. What matters more is what character seems to have more evidence for them in comparison to how often they show up... which is why Nori is so suspicious. You've implicitly assumed him guilty with no evidence already. For all we know, a new character could be introduced that would reveal the killer right away. Or it could be Detective Detective himself, considering he wears glasses. Although considering this song seems to be from his perspective, that'd be pretty weird.
@@Mathignihilcehk I disagree. The line "Your body language contradicts what you're sayin', " matches perfectly with Hareka telling DD she refused Nori's offer when she takes his hand in the animation. I always thought that was interesting, that she says she doesn't need his help when she takes his hand. She's not telling the whole truth, and DD can tell.
Lol I love how you just comment it so nonchalantly meanwhile I figured it out went crazy and like jumped out of my chair and spammed my keyboard while screaming and running around my room hahaha
Can we just appreciate the fact that Static-P put the time and effort into filling the news articles with actual text instead of just some random scribbles.
Hm, I wonder why Aka-sensei had those pictures??? She wasn't manager for the original or new Meteor at the time of the bombing. And if the photos were part of the original alibi, why didn't Detective Detective already have them? On another note, there's a surprising amount of detail given to Hareka's family compared to the rest of the background characters.... HMMMMM
I was wondering the same thing, but I think it may be that since at this point Aka Sensei is leading the next generation of Meteor, she was able to ask the girls for the pictures to give to Detective Detective
I have a question... who exactly took the photo of Hareka and Morime with the rings on from Clues to a Poorman's Briefcase? (Looking at their outfits and the background, that was definitely the same day, probably right after that ring interaction). That was kind of a personal moment, so who would've gotten a shot of it? I mean, the rings are a symbol to trust and forgive. If they were hiding something that needed forgiveness, then why were they more than willing to get their picture taken? And who was it that decided to take the photo, and then give it to DD as evidence? (Maybe that's why Hareka looks so unsettled in her picture??)
One thing I'd like to note: Morime wasn't just a fan of Star Blush. She seems to be the daughter of one of the staff of the charity concert. This is judging based on the outfit of the person she is holding hands with here: 2:11 That is Hareka is probably the person who knows the most about what's going on but isn't telling everything. There may be some reasons she isn't willing to share, and it may be linked to Morime. Look at Hareka's eyes in this image: 3:44 . It's not particularly joyous. That smile is most definitely faked in some way or just not 100% true. We could probably find some relation that would work as a reason she isn't saying anything. We know it has to be a sensitive enough or an important enough relation for this. A few situations may be family ties to either, Hareka or Morime. Just throwing my observations out there.
I have no idea what that piano-sounding instrument is but it sounds absolutely amazing. As does the guitar for that matter. And your voice... Actually, Static-P you're constantly an inspiration and an absolute pleasure to my ears, thanks for always making amazing music.
The ringbearer is detective. The reason hareka's picture is in the middle is because detective knows she knows something that would lead him to the culprit. She holds the information he needs and Morime is the way he's going to get.
After 3 years of following this series, I realized there was more meaning to "You seem to know much more than you told". I looked at the pictures and it seems like Haruka didn't explain fully to DD about her connection to Nori. In Bad News, Haruka painted it as if Nori was a random person that met Haruka. Stay Calm reveals that Nori had nothing to do with the bombing incident and was framed for kidnapping, so he's ultimately innocent. In Your Eyes, Haruka's parents are part of the staff charity. I think Haruka knew Nori when she was child (assuming she was acquainted with him because of her parents charity work). She only talked about him in Bad News to try to take DD's eyes off her, and she used Nori as a scapegoat so she would not get found.
.... I... I'm so confused... I thought I'd be able to keep up with the story and figure things out as the songs come out, but... man.. The song is AMAZING- by far my favorite of the Criminal Idol series!! But the story just... Woah.. I've gotta admit- you've crafted an equally amazing story to go along with it, Ryan! The way you show these story details is amazingly clever, and i'm honestly stumped as to what the heck could be going on, anymore. It's just so vague, lol. I mean, I have an idea, but.... nothing solid.... again. XD Man, I love you, Ryan! Keep up the awesome work!!!❤ P.S. I love how the detective knew even less than us at the time of the bombing, and he probably knew who did it *instantly.* And that just baffles me! XD What an awesome character! Also, the detail of Her Eyes in the photo at 3:45, compared to the one at the very beginning, where she isn't wearing a ring (before the bombing). Her Eyes are hiding something besides themselves. You can tell those rings are bittersweet for her. Something just isnt right. She even appears to have slumped shoulders, like something is weighing her down... Brilliant...
DAY 25 or reviewing every STATIC-P song! Oh man, this sure is another great song! The opening is one of the best so far, just behind “I’m Sorry”. The mixing is AMAZING and so distinct from your other songs, as well as the tone of your voice overall! It always feels so upbeat, and this more “serious” style is something I definitely enjoy. Some good sections worth pointing out are at 1:38 with… whatever THAT is, and at 2:44 with that light rap which mixes in perfectly with the rest of the song. I also won’t look into this specifically, but it does feel like the visuals are really trying to give hints as to what the full story really is. I can’t tell if you actually already have a full story ready, but it’s a cool thought nonetheless. A song that feels distinct, but still stays in the same style as the usual I give this song a: 🪄 out of 10
I am so so so impressed with you for sticking with this, doing what you said you'd do! There are a good many I have to catch up on, now, to be sure. I very much want to read them all, just might take me a little while to get to them. =) You're crazy awesome.
@@StaticP well thanks!!! (´▽`) There are definitely even less content creators who would even consider taking the time to go through their comments and RESPOND! That’s on a whole other level of dedication! So please, don’t feel forced AT ALL to look at my other comments. Just knowing that, just like in this case, you do from time to time, is even more than I could have ever asked for (˶‾᷄ ⁻̫ ‾᷅˵)
Thank you for the review. Fun to read as always! This one is one of my top favorites of all times, that I've done. It's sort of a soft tribute to the band *Queen* but with a vocal style that is reminiscent of noir detective or old-timey radio show. I think the vocal tone and style really do well and add a pretty uniquely welcomed flavor to the genre... If I had more songs to sing from the detectives perspective I'd like to dig into this singing style and refine it. =)
Ever time you drop a new track it's a unique style and sounds amazing, like dude, you are such a versatile and incredibly talented artist! I can't get enough of this, hope you can keep making them!
It's been a really long time since I checked up on the Criminal Idol project, and I'm really glad that it's still going strong! So glad that the music has gotten better and better since I dropped off from Discord because of school. Excited to see where things go from here and maybe I'll renew that subscription so I download the new tracks 😁 Keep working hard, Static!
Your music makes me feel emotions that i can't explain in words... when i listen to it it's not once, it isn't twice, no no. It's looped for at least a week, i download it on my phone, i memorize all the lyrics and the beat, i hum it when i'm alone and most of all it inspires me to draw!! Thank you so much for existing!
Yes ! a new song ! Thank again Static, it's always a good moment when I hear a song from you. Rainy's art is soooo cool, and both compliment each other really well, it's perfect. Now it's time for my analysis/theory ! (like always, sorry for the grammar mistakes, I'm French.) From the start, we know that this takes place right after Hareka's discussion with Detective. For me, this song is about Hareka and a secret that she's hiding. let me explain you why (bear with me, It's going to be a little weird) : First, we know that both Hareka's parents works in the Idol competition, specificaly for Nori. We wouldn't see all three on the same photo if it was not the case. Second, we know that one of Morime's parents works in this field too, again because of the picture. Third, from the alibi pictures, we know that Hareka told something to the rest of the group right before the explosion. For me, she told them what we discovered in the last song, the fact that the Idol Stage was rigged from the start. Lastly, we got the name of the Idol's duo that was on stage when the bomb exploded : Angel Light. I think this will be a important detail for later. Now, let's go for my theory : Hareka and Morime are half-sisters. Why ? because we only got two importants peoples with specific details working with Nori, and it's Hareka's family. From the clues in the pictures, we can tell that they have the same father. I think that the father had an affair and Morime is the child born from this affair (Hareka is two years older). Nori knew that and used this information to act as a lever to "force" Hareka into a position where she couldn't refuse to help him. After the bombing, knowing she had some part to play in it now that she's helping Nori, and the fact that Morime is really friendly toward her (she gave her a ring after all), it's taking a toll on her mentally (this is hinted in the song's lyrics "deep inside your conscience takes a toll on you"). This part of the lyrics "'Cause you been hidin' your eyes like they don't want me te know they're ashamed" can be seen on the picture taken at the end of Clues to a Poor Man's Briefcase, Hareka as a fake smile and she is avoiding the camera with her eyes. Impling that Hareka don't want Morime to know because the truth would make more harm than anything. I've seen a comment saying that Nori could be the one behind the bomb so he can shake things a either tear the industry from inside or rule it. This could really fit, but because we don't have enough informations on Nori I can't really be sure about that. Anyways, thanks for reading my comment, Thanks again Static and Rainy for this awesome work and see you all for the next song !!!!
I love this song a bunch! It's great how you added the rings from Poor Man's Briefcase and other previous things that were shown. And my goodness can I just complement how good the art has gotten. You all are truly amazing!
I'm really digging this style of art for this series. It's a lot easier for the artist to draw but it looks so clean, consistent, and fits the series perfectly. =)
Thank you~ ^-^b It turned out way more adorable than I was expecting when I made the edit. Definitely one of my favorite parts, visually. Though there are other really great pics, too.
Im still waiting for an episode that's from the perspective of the bomber and have been since almost the beginning. Anywho keep up the good work this stuff is great🎵
To be honest, I don’t think I’ve heard a song that barely repeats itself, only in appropriate times; I respect that, a lot, people don’t like difference and change so it was a bold move on your part. The final result will be sure to help those who don’t understand to see something different. Great song Static.
I don't think Hareka bombed the stage, but I do think this song is about her, just with the amount of the pictures being of her, and she's the only character on the thumbnail. This most likely takes place right after Bad News, due to the start of the song set in the same backround as it, and now Detective Detective is not quite sure she told the full story. Also, something had been bothering me since Bad News. Towards the end of the song she is singing about how she doesn't need some stranger giving her a score, and how she doesn't care if it's rigged because the scores won't change her, but then she shakes hands with Nori signifying that she's joining him in taking down the rigged system for idols. It's almost like the song is what she tells him, but the visuals are the truth, and DD suspects that something is off with her story, and that's where Your Eyes fits in. I have been thinking about this since Bad News came out, but I brushed it aside because I thought I was just misunderstanding the ending because I'm not exactly a genius, and maybe I'm wrong, but that's my current thinking.
So, I know this is late, but here's all the clues I've gathered: 1. Harukas parents are the two members of the charity staff, as well as co-workers of nori. 2. Nori was friends with the star blush girls teacher, or at least aquaintences 3. Young Morime is also placed alongside charity staff members, so either it's her parents or she's friends with haruka (also supported from clues to a poor man's briefcase) 4. In the alibi photo, it looks like haruka is explaining something That's everything I caught, so if I missed anything make sure to let me know, but now it's on to theories: Theory 1: the teacher did it. While it doesn't seem that far fetched as he was friends with nori and is said to be a genius inventor, I commented this on a prior song a long time ago and static p said it wasn't the teacher Theory 2: harukas parents did it. They would absolutely have the ability to sneak a bomb in and wipe the camera footage as they are part of the charity staff, but I find this one a little tougher to agree with as nori was trying to blackmail harukas parents in the next video Theory 3: Morime did it. I find this on very hard to validate due to the alibi photo, nor can I find any motive in any of the prior songs Theory 4: haruka did it. Same as theory 3, I don't see this one as plausible for the same reason, but, as I said before, in the alibi photo it looks like she's explaining something/trying to keep her friends there, so while it may be impossible for her to light the bomb itself, it's not impossible that she was an accomplice. Edit: Alright, so it seems that i missed something pretty major. In one of the first pictures, it shows nori talking to Kanesaki (the teacher) which tells us that Kanesaki and Nori were connected before Nori went to jail (In the song "stay calm" it tells us that Nori was in jail when the bombing occurred). At the same time, this does NOT rule out Nori being a part of the bombing, as in the same song where it tells us he was in jail at the time of the bombing he tells us that "Im not the only one who should be doing time". I feel that Nori knowing Kanesaki is fairly important as it could connect Kanesaki to the bombing in more of a direct way, but at the same time, i feel that it may also be a red herring to lead us away from the proper conclusion. Thats all i have for now. While i feel like i have brought up some pretty decent theories, I feel like we are still missing some fairly important information. If anyone has any other theories, please let me know, id love to see them :)
I'm going to assume that you mean Hareka when you say Haruka xD Theory: Aka Sensei, Nori, Morime, Hareka and Kanesaki are all connected and all had a part in the bombing. Aka wanted to get rid of the old Meteor so that she could take over and get glory or fame or whatever. Nori helped her plan it and such because he wanted to see the underdog win, and because he was annoyed by the gambling thing and Hareka didn't help take him down, and also Hareka's parents are event organizers ( I think xD ). He also might have kidnapped Haneka as a distraction, and a little more I'll explain soon. Kanesaki was forced to help build the bomb and set it off, probably with a threat to hurt his sister. He doesn't want to help, but he can't explicitly tell anybody, so he invites D.D. to the competition because Kanesaki trusts D.D. and wants him to figure it out somehow. Haneka was kidnapped by Nori so Nori could figure out her parent's phone number and probably her phone number too (( Ransom )) and then Aka or Nori could call her and threaten her parents and force Haneka to take the bomb in. Morime is related to Nori in some way, which is another reason why Nori chooses to help Meteorite. I think Morime might know what's going on, but is against it, and she and Hareka are working together and trying to figure out how to expose Nori and Aka and what not without getting else hurt- Cue Morime and Hareka exchanging rings in Clues To A Poor Man's Briefcase and Morime and Hareka hanging out in on of the photos and both of them having connections to Event Managers.
I can see a lot of references to the other songs like the Star Blush Girls, and the bomb in the idol stage competition, and I like how well made this is.
Im early for once!😆 never clicked of a notification so fast before. Edit: this song is amazing as always, it's probably my new favorite keep up the great work!
Great job @static-p please keep doing what your doing I was introduced to your channel about 2 years ago by it's not like I like you. Been loving your content ever since, old and new.
Seems like Morime's Dad/Guardian is Nori. Also, it seems like perhaps Haruka and Morime are colluding for some reason. (maybe because of that thing that happened at the end of bad news.)
Can you at least try and make a song which isn't the best part of my day? I honestly can't describe how much I love your music, and I don't really listen to music like this. And the whole Criminal Idol story is fantastic
Tsarcastic Maybe he’ll make two songs in one day, and one will be best which will automatically make the other one not the best. I still vaguely suspect they’d both tie for first, though. 😊😂
My theory is that somehow Nori slipped the bomb made by Kanesaki in Hareka’s bag. She knows and feels guilty about it. Detective Detective is aware of it as well, that’s why he continuously deflects Cole’s questions about the Star Blush Girls being guilty in Dream On. The detective knows if he speaks too soon Hareka could be in jeopardy, as people would use her relations with Nori against her.
I think Kanesaki is the bomber, and Nori isn't connected to the bomb. I think Kanesaki was benefiting from the idol rigging and found out about them working with Nori. I believe Nori is the Ringbearer and knows both Hareka's and Morime's parents. Morime and Hareka clearly have known each other if you pay attention to the news articles and in Poor Man's briefcase they interact with each other. If we consider it, the bomb involved a match being lit, but no one tampered with their bags once they were at the concert, which means that the match got lit inside the bag. if you pay attention to the picture where Nori and Kanesaki are interacting, Nori looks like he is straining to keep his smile while Kanesaki looks disinterested/annoyed. Aka sensei has the alibi photos and fangirling picture because she follows the new Meteor girls to there next school to continue to teaching them.
I find it a bit strange how Morime is in just enough lighting to show that she's important but then looked over. And if Nori's Morime's Dad, then he could've gotten access to the luggage.
@@imtryingtobeoriginalchanne3996 the issue with that is the fact that it is confirmed in Idol Bombing that no one had tampered with the bags around the time of the bombing.
@Silent Eostrix That is a loophole. But I think if he was in the staff, he might've been able to get to the footage and delete it (I'm not sure, please correct if I'm wrong). But the reason I believe this is from a miniscule detail. Around 2:18 Morime is the only person moving around a bit in the photos. This is probably a really dumb reason to believe it, though. Your theory of Kanesaki works well too, seeing as in episode 0 the bomber's eyes are red.

Aka Sensei was fangirling so she would have gotten her all of the photos taken
Sophia Redwood well it was probably one of the group taking it to commemorate the moment and as such DD would have access to it
I have no idea what that piano-sounding instrument is but it sounds absolutely amazing. As does the guitar for that matter. And your voice... Actually, Static-P you're constantly an inspiration and an absolute pleasure to my ears, thanks for always making amazing music.
Sounds like some type of harpsichord.
*OHH MY GHAADD YOU CHANGED THE SUBTITLES*
Ryan youre so incredibly talented. Rainy is too. Thank you for the amazing song ❤

Now this really makes me want to know who the culprit is! Ya made me so excited! Great work!

I was super excited to see this video. It works so well with the song I'd listened to when I became a backer. Thank you Ryan and Rainy!
That last little note reminds me SO MUCH of Detective Detective's end!
Classic Detective Detective. x3
.... I mean, I have an idea, but.... nothing solid.... again. XD
Man, I love you, Ryan! Keep up the awesome work!!!❤
P.S. I love how the detective knew even less than us at the time of the bombing, and he probably knew who did it *instantly.* And that just baffles me! XD
What an awesome character!
The rings... "A sign to trust and to forgive"
...forgive WHAT, exactly?
Your comment = on point!
It feels so offputting without lyrics on the screen
They will come, soon. =)
It's just published immediately.

A song that feels distinct, but still stays in the same style as the usual
I give this song a: 🪄 out of 10
I am so so so impressed with you for sticking with this, doing what you said you'd do! There are a good many I have to catch up on, now, to be sure. I very much want to read them all, just might take me a little while to get to them. =)
You're crazy awesome.
@@StaticP well thanks!!! (´▽`)
There are definitely even less content creators who would even consider taking the time to go through their comments and RESPOND!
Truly a masterpiece, aka everything you sing and create

Thank you~ I appreciate that! ^^
Yes ! a new song !
Thank again Static, it's always a good moment when I hear a song from you. Rainy's art is soooo cool, and both compliment each other really well, it's perfect.
Now it's time for my analysis/theory !
(like always, sorry for the grammar mistakes, I'm French.)
From the start, we know that this takes place right after Hareka's discussion with Detective.
For me, this song is about Hareka and a secret that she's hiding. let me explain you why (bear with me, It's going to be a little weird) :
First, we know that both Hareka's parents works in the Idol competition, specificaly for Nori.
Now, let's go for my theory :
Hareka and Morime are half-sisters. Why ? because we only got two importants peoples with specific details working with Nori, and it's Hareka's family.
Anyways, thanks for reading my comment, Thanks again Static and Rainy for this awesome work and see you all for the next song !!!!
i love your music thank you
I love your soul.
Ah static I just love and admire the content you make!
Thank youuuu!! Will do! =D
I appreciate your kindness!
Can we talk about how Morime B U M P S to the beat inside the picture frame? Idk if it's an editing artifact but it's super entertaining!
Thank you~ ^-^b It turned out way more adorable than I was expecting when I made the edit. Definitely one of my favorite parts, visually. Though there are other really great pics, too.

Im still waiting for an episode that's from the perspective of the bomber and have been since almost the beginning.

To be honest, I don’t think I’ve heard a song that barely repeats itself, only in appropriate times; I respect that, a lot, people don’t like difference and change so it was a bold move on your part. The final result will be sure to help those who don’t understand to see something different. Great song Static.
I loved this as a backer and even more on UA-cam! This came out in the middle of my ride so i wasent able be first to it but still. Awesome
Thanks for the support, buddy! I'm glad you enjoyed it, both releases!
@@StaticP 😃
Is it just me or have the captions upgraded 😁✊ its aesthetically pleasing. Honestly
Love your music! Keep up the good work
I was more impressed by the captions than the video for some reason
I am happy with this already
I really respect your work!
Thanks, mate! =)
THE BIG HYPE
GOOD JOB OMG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Just as I thought about listening to some static this gets dropped. Great track as always man keep it up
Finally the pieces are coming together
So, I know this is late, but here's all the clues I've gathered:
1. Harukas parents are the two members of the charity staff, as well as co-workers of nori.
2. Nori was friends with the star blush girls teacher, or at least aquaintences
3. Young Morime is also placed alongside charity staff members, so either it's her parents or she's friends with haruka (also supported from clues to a poor man's briefcase)
4. In the alibi photo, it looks like haruka is explaining something
That's everything I caught, so if I missed anything make sure to let me know, but now it's on to theories:
Theory 1: the teacher did it. While it doesn't seem that far fetched as he was friends with nori and is said to be a genius inventor, I commented this on a prior song a long time ago and static p said it wasn't the teacher
Theory 2: harukas parents did it. They would absolutely have the ability to sneak a bomb in and wipe the camera footage as they are part of the charity staff, but I find this one a little tougher to agree with as nori was trying to blackmail harukas parents in the next video
Theory 3: Morime did it. I find this on very hard to validate due to the alibi photo, nor can I find any motive in any of the prior songs
Theory 4: haruka did it.
I'm going to assume that you mean Hareka when you say Haruka xD
Theory:
Aka Sensei, Nori, Morime, Hareka and Kanesaki are all connected and all had a part in the bombing.
Backed cause I've been here since "please equip your weapon." Keep up the good work :D

@@StaticP You seriously deserve a lot more recognition Static, I found your channel 2 months ago and you became one of my favorite artists :)
What's this? Two Criminal Idol songs in one year? It's been a while...
Silent Eostrix That actually makes sense!
Your theory of Kanesaki works well too, seeing as in episode 0 the bomber's eyes are red.
it's so crazy how you can turn the basic concepts of musical progessions into such interesting and progressive creations.
Thank you~ Are you a musician, yourself? =)
