I just did my first writing today and got 2100 words!! 😵💫 All of them are just summaries of the upcoming chapters, but I'm figuring out so much of my story and it feels so good. I was at this barrier for writing the story b/c I'm thinking of changing to 3rd person instead of 1st person. I didn't want to have to re-write all the new chapters (along with the already written ones), so I was really holding myself back. Your vlog from the 4th gave me the grace and courage to follow what I needed for my story-writing, and I am so happy for it!!
I signed up for this Challenge but between working a full time job and being sick I have been too exhausted to do anything. Hopefully I can get on track soon. I am really enjoying these vlogs. They are informative and so relatable.

One thing I'm learning from you, Sarra, is how to take it easy on myself. I'm one to beat myself up if I don't reach my goal, if I can't get it all done on time. I see you happy, dealing with stuff as it comes, taking time or a health/nurture day, and still succeeding. I don't know if you realize how healing this is for someone who's been under the pressure at a job for 22 years then lost it. I feel like I've been sitting and spinning and getting nothing accomplished, until now. So thank you for sharing the work, scheduling, healing time, and the little bits of play. They're making such a difference. ❤
I just wanted to say that I loved that you explained that to us. It made sense to me. As a pantser I don’t plan but I want to get into fantasy one day so I see the value of preplanning the story.

My HB90 is in a classic Happy Planner and am in process of finishing a project list of every single unfinished writing project and its status. It will move daily to always be the first thing I see so that when looking for something to do I can do small things, and when finishing a big project, I know everything I could be working on and can pick from it. There's lots to pick from!

Hi Sarra. I haven't started writing either. I'm fitting in at least 1 hour every day for just mapping things out. Reminds me, I need to watch your mapping video yet. I'm trying to catch up since i had a bad health day yesterday and i'm over 2600 words now, but i feel like the last 600 minimum have been forced. I'm only 960 ish words off-target so i think i'm gonna call it good and just enjoy some self care and read TDOVS instead. I started reading it last night and i really just intended to read a chapter or two, but i could not put it down and ended up stopping at chapter 17 when the need to sleep started winning and the book nearly smacked me in the face. I've never been super interested in this genre of books before, but i'm genuinely really enjoying it. I can't wait to see what happens with the memory business! I hope you're doing well ♥

Edit: at 16:30, the subtitles transcribe 'serial' as 'cereal' and it's making me laugh so hard lol

Found on temu "40 piece halloween decor vase filler" comprised of a spooky assortment of acrylic bats, spiders, ghosts, pumpkins, skulls and witches hats. I'm doing a witchy series and don't mind spooky all year. But I might order other assortment for different seasons or months. There's a fall one and a Christmas one I like. Cost was only 2.65.
I’ve been wanting to do what you’re doing but have each of the steps of the story structure as 27 books. And now since I’ve watched this video about how you’re doing it, it’s making me want to get back to try it my own way

27,000 words into editing. I try and do at least 2 chapters a day and there is a lot of rewriting in there. I'm loving the push I get from this.
