The Soviet pilot turning back to engage the German fighter is similar to how the Soviets were backing off in the beginning but regained lost territory and moved on to Berlin from then on. Poetic and beautiful.

if you have an enemy chasing you and get rid of him but your plane is faster u pull up and the faster plane looses controll later and gets to win the fight just using gravity againts your very worthy opponent
if the soviet pilot would have been slower he would have been basicaly sitting in one place stuck in the air for the german pilot to shoot
thats why the manuver is dangerous

As a Vietnamese, I have learned historical lessons about my country and the Soviet Union. Both of them experienced painful and heroic battles to protect their country. Even though the trailer has been out for a long time, every time I turn it on I still get emotional, this is the best video game trailer I've ever seen!

Actually not really there are certain things you can do as a ground soldier(or in this case these ground soldiers were infantry units)because there are certain things you can do that you can't do being in a tank or plane and there are certain roles that need to be filled also like anti air,communications,scouting,ect and countries don't have enough money to replace all ground troops with tanks and planes and even if they did it wouldn't make battles any easier

What most people don't realize about this trailer is the fact that it is a REAL WORLD situation.
Do you know how old that tiger is? No
Do you know what kind of shell the IS used? No
Do you know what kind of engine the german/Russian plane had? No
Do you know if there was a malfunction in the germans engine? No
Do you know the distance between the tiger and the IS? No
Do you know if the tiger had suffered damage earlier? No
It's a real world situation where everything comes into play, from the wind to the one pipe inside the engine.
So stop bitching about "That german plane is more poweful' blablabla
And seriously guys, what did you expect. They are Russian devs, a Russian company. They already made a trailer with americans. They made a trailer with germans. But when they make a Russian trailer all hell breaks loose because they are proud of their fucking country. Could've worked too, shame he missed, if you noticed he was aiming for the treads, if you can't knock out a tank, then do the next best thing and immobilize it

@@jamisco4432 yeah it could've, it honestly didnt take much to detrack a tiger, they were tough as hell but they were also unreliable as fuck.
While a PTRD-41's 14.5mm round has a snowball's chance in hell of penetrating a tiger's armour, it can definitely penetrate the tracks and knock them out of action if it hits in the correct place
