@@eighteight4612 i was referring to his body weight you dumb_fuck , When Shaq left lakers he weighed close to 400 lbs, Pat Riley got him back into shape in Miami n he looked like Shaq from early Orlando. Are you stupid or something??

@@AbdinoorH34Phil Jackson told him to bulk up so he kept bulking up. When he asked Phil Jackson about his weight after Phil said he was too big, he’d weigh him about his and Phil said you play fine and we need you bigger bulked up and strong. Phil was the one that wanted him playing into shape during the season to preserve Shaq’s body, get the lakers and Kobe developing and learning how to play not rely on Shaq. It was also to rob teams of having games, experience and footage on how they should play Shaq during the regular season so they were unprepared for in shape Shaq and the lakers going through him offensively at a higher usage rate and reining in Kobe. The first two years of the threepeat he was in shape, Phil had him bulk. The third he was fat and lazy but he also hurt from playing so big. Pat Riley asked him loose weight and Shaq lost 37 pounds in six weeks and did cardio and lifted twice a day and practiced everyday. He continued to loose weight and got down to 337. He had more muscle and Pat said it was fine. Pat did require Shaq to stay in great cardiovascular shape and practice a lot. It worked well for the first year and a half, but Shaq is too big a human to work out that much and his body broke down. He healed in phoenix and got back in shape but hurt again and got hurt on the Cavs.
@@all-aroundnba8912 I remember the bobcats were actually decent when I started watching basketball back in 2009-10, when they had Stephen Jackson, j rich, Dj Augustin, etc
I disagree, Shaq was pretty much done, so was J-Will. Smush was a bust, Ricky Davis never played beyond the first round and the Celtics were just too good.
@@panslawista Yeah, I know, but he was traded during the season. Maybe if Wade was heakthy the season would have been different and Shaq would have stayed.
@@all-aroundnba8912 idk if Shaq and j-will done, they still had some gas in the tank. I think that team was done mentally. Not having a winning atmosphere that year without wade is what killed there confidence.
The 1 year Shaq briefly regained his Orlando shape
? What about the lakers? He won 3 straight finals mvp’s… are u dumb?

If Wade hadn’t been injured in 08 the Heat would have won another chip
