My favourite thing about your channel is how through you are with your product reviews and explanations of textures and technique. You also just don't follow trends, which brings a authenticity to your channel. I honestly take in your opinion whenever I am making a makeup purchase.
Emily, you always make me feel assured of my own makeup "collection" :) Other UA-camrs can send me into a terrible spiral of just buying a lot of products, for the sake of buying or having them. But you always remind that it's up to me (the individual person!) how we want to enjoy makeup -- even if that's having a small collection, liking the same go-to look or products but with a splash of color every now and again... I scroll through my subscription feed and I skip pretty much everyone, it's ALL the same , favorites MUFE liners, COLOURPOP crap, all the usual stuff that yes, it's Interesting, but Your videos are creative and helpful. Your always thinking of your subscribers. You don't get caught up in the hype, your channel is always a grounded place we can come to get an honest opinion of what is worth our money and what isn't. No offense to some of the younger UA-camrs but their looks are all the same, they're too caught up with trends & wear so much makeup that doesn't look natural yet they present it as such. They only cater to certain audiences instead of everyone & I don't support anyone who dosen't include drugstore products. Not all of them are like this but Imo, when they all do the same tutorials using the same looks, they become generic. I really like Emily's channel the most & I race to UA-cam when I get a notification that she's uploaded a new video. 💖😃

Seriously, I bought the balm palette this year for 39.99 and seriously one of the best things I've purchased this year. As someone who had not tried anything from this brand but wanted too.. However unless it's on sale as a graduate student it's not always in my budget. Still it was so worth it for me. The only thing in there I wasn't crazy about was the Instain blush as a African American woman it didn't seem most suited to me but I mixed the blushes to warm it up a little bit and its stunning! So so worth it! It was my go to this year for my 25th birthday. Planning to review it on my channel! Also, I agree about the NYX avant pop eyeshadows, amazing quality. I can't wait to snatch up the go to palettes. I so enjoyed this video Emily. Your content gets better with time ;) can't wait to try out that Pacifica palette. I've been wanting to try their coconut shimmer for a long time... Anyone tried them? Thoughts?
+Purposeful Pursuits just wondering, if i already have most of the full-sized products in the palette, is it still worth it to get this palette? i have the bronzer, highlight, 2 of those blushes, the Apples lip and cheek palette, and 3 of the 4 eyeshadow palettes featured. I really wanna get it because Emily raves about it so often but i don't know if i need it.
Good question! I think if you already have all those products and use them often you probably don't because it's just downsized versions of the same thing. If your already good and loving those products and you travel with them probs not. However, if you collect makeup or you budget just allows it or you want them all in one place for traveling maybe you would want them... but I think you'd be good without them considering you have all of these things I'd say pass. I'll tell you that for me I do plan to buy the highlight full size because I use it so much and sometimes I only want to travel with it. I hope this helps you decide. :)

Yes, I have heard they break easily when traveling which worries me. Someone told me the 3 piece that comes with all the manizer sister is easier to travel with than the individual highlights. If I do buy it I will keep your advice in mind :)

The multi facet pallette from illamasqua is a similar thing - cream contour, cream highlighter, blusher, 4 eyeshadows (one which is also an eyeliner) and brow cake. All with a huge mirror and a good brush. Favourite thing in my make up bag. They usually do them on sale a couple of times a year and they're a great way of trying a lot of illamasqua products without making a huge financial commitment. Love this video, as always x

NYX Wanderlust looks like a good dupe for the Stila palette too. Such a great idea for a video and it's wonderful how considerate you are for your viewers. I love that you remind everyone that you don't always need to buy the latest releases when there are many other great products out there. I did snag the Charlotte Tilbury palette when it launched and now glad I did! I didn't think it was going to be this LE and go so quick. It's a great way to sample her line if you don't already own other products.

Your fluency in the industry is evident in the way you evaluate products and the thoroughness of your research (I love that you directly contacted a PR rep about the Instant Look palette's availability instead of just making guesses!). Your delivery and more importantly your objectivity are extraordinary (not just among UA-camrs -- that's not a high bar -- but also even among your former comrades in journalism). Love the video as always. I have to say that my favorite multitasking palette has to be my taste rainforest after dark. Even though only has 1 blush, I find I'm not wanting for any others. The shadows, bronzer and highlight are perfect. It's become my go to vacation palette. I pack it and nothing else.

These look like amazing, multi~tasking palettes. I got the Tarte Showstopper palette last summer, and it was my go~to palette for travel! The only thing missing is a matte cream shadow, which I just supplement. It has shadows, bronzer, blush, and highlight in the perfect shades for summer😍
Perfect timing for these palettes, my mom was talking about how she needs to throw out some old makeup and replace it, and she would love an all-in-one concept like this for daily use!

Laura Mercier used to make a travel palette/kit that included a mini lip gloss, 2 shadows, powder to liquid liner, bronzer, and blush. Not sure if they still carry it but it was amazing and in a tiny, layered container! All you needed to bring with it were a few brushes and you had a complete look.

I love my Tarte Rainforest After Dark palette for a quick multi-tasking palette (or perfect for compact travel!) so so nice to have several matte shadows in that palette instead of just shimmer!

I would love if you did a more of a comprehensive review on Pacifica Beauty. I love their body butters, and their Dreamy Youth Day and Night Cream. No make-up so far for me. I wish the palette you showed from Pacifica was a bit thinner for travel. I was so looking forward to your Charlotte Tilbury Palette Review video because the palette tales is stunning and I thought it would be a great way to save some money and try a lot of things from her at once
I got the NYX pallettes she. showed when she first talked about them and EmilyNoel83 ALWAYS steers me in the right direction. They are some of the best eyeshadows in a palette, or not, period. Not to mention the highlight shades are phenomenal. I also started on The Balm bevause of Emily and they have fantastic products and sooooo underated for what they are and the price. Now i MUST get that Stila palette. Like Emily i love the burgandys, dark plums, etc and that just looks up my alley. Thanks Emily for another GREAT video as ALWAYS.

Lorac matte palette - 8 eyeshadows you can use on eyelids, for liner, for eyebrows, even bronzer, contour and blush and even found that you can put the reddish shade on lips and go over with a bit of lip balm so that's pretty much everything but foundation and it's small and portable

+Plum de Bois and uses 10 different descriptive words that don't contradict themselves. "It's like so super creamy I love it and smooth creamy except that it's a bit rough and that's annoying." Emily sounds intelligent and gives wonderful descriptions and comparisons. I really appreciate her reviews since I have to order online.
+Tracy Bzz buttery , glossy , makeup hosls , ride or die ... Some more meaningless words that Emily never uses!! She is a great educator too
this is why I love your channel: the thought you put into really making sure that the video will be relevant and useful to your viewers really sets you apart from all the other beauty "gurus" who just churn out any old video to gain views or make a buck off of sponsors. thank you for all your consideration and true appreciation for your viewers!
The multi facet pallette from illamasqua is a similar thing - cream contour, cream highlighter, blusher, 4 eyeshadows (one which is also an eyeliner) and brow cake. All with a huge mirror and a good brush. Favourite thing in my make up bag. They usually do them on sale a couple of times a year and they're a great way of trying a lot of illamasqua products without making a huge financial commitment. Love this video, as always x

I love that you remind everyone that you don't always need to buy the latest releases when there are many other great products out there. I did snag the Charlotte Tilbury palette when it launched and now glad I did! I didn't think it was going to be this LE and go so quick. It's a great way to sample her line if you don't already own other products.

I love the Tarte Showstopper palette for multitasking when I'm in a hurry or need to pack something that has most of what I need when I travel.
Thank you for this! All in one palettes are something I've learned I reach for more than anything else in my collection! I'm always time restricted and slightly lazy sometimes, so I love having my whole look coordinated for me.

Your fluency in the industry is evident in the way you evaluate products and the thoroughness of your research (I love that you directly contacted a PR rep about the Instant Look palette's availability instead of just making guesses!). Your delivery and more importantly your objectivity are extraordinary (not just among UA-camrs -- that's not a high bar -- but also even among your former comrades in journalism). Love the video as always. I have to say that my favorite multitasking palette has to be my taste rainforest after dark. Even though only has 1 blush, I find I'm not wanting for any others. The shadows, bronzer and highlight are perfect. It's become my go to vacation palette. I pack it and nothing else.

These look like amazing, multi~tasking palettes. I got the Tarte Showstopper palette last summer, and it was my go~to palette for travel! The only thing missing is a matte cream shadow, which I just supplement. It has shadows, bronzer, blush, and highlight in the perfect shades for summer😍
Perfect timing for these palettes, my mom was talking about how she needs to throw out some old makeup and replace it, and she would love an all-in-one concept like this for daily use!

Laura Mercier used to make a travel palette/kit that included a mini lip gloss, 2 shadows, powder to liquid liner, bronzer, and blush. Not sure if they still carry it but it was amazing and in a tiny, layered container! All you needed to bring with it were a few brushes and you had a complete look.

I would love if you did a more of a comprehensive review on Pacifica Beauty. I love their body butters, and their Dreamy Youth Day and Night Cream. No make-up so far for me. I wish the palette you showed from Pacifica was a bit thinner for travel.

I got the NYX pallettes she. showed when she first talked about them and EmilyNoel83 ALWAYS steers me in the right direction. They are some of the best eyeshadows in a palette, or not, period. Not to mention the highlight shades are phenomenal. I also started on The Balm bevause of Emily and they have fantastic products and sooooo underated for what they are and the price. Now i MUST get that Stila palette. Like Emily i love the burgandys, dark plums, etc and that just looks up my alley. Thanks Emily for another GREAT video as ALWAYS.

Lorac matte palette - 8 eyeshadows you can use on eyelids, for liner, for eyebrows, even bronzer, contour and blush and even found that you can put the reddish shade on lips and go over with a bit of lip balm so that's pretty much everything but foundation and it's small and portable
