"Storytelling is one of the things that underlines all of these sessions. Telling stories is the way we make sense of our lives."

Robert is the Associate Editor of the Observer, and (among other things) the author of an acclaimed biography of PG Wodehouse, several novels, and a stroke memoir, 'My Year Off'.
Currently, he is writing a short book about ageing, death and dying for baby-boomers entitled 'Every Third Thought'. It's work-in-progress, with the subtitle "Observations on the inevitable endgame", but he hopes it's more uplifting and informative than that suggests. It follows on from 'My Year Off'.

Moving account of Robert's stroke. It occurred in a house that used to belong to Salman Rushdie.
