Children of Silentown is a dark adventure game that tells the story of Lucy, a young girl growing up in a village deep into a forest inhabited by monsters. Lucy is afraid of the forest, just like any other child: every night, the echoing roars rob her of her sleep. Not even her dreams are a safe place where she could play. People disappearing is nothing uncommon in the village, but this time, Lucy is old enough to investigate on her own. Or so she thinks...
Accompany Lucy and her friends in this grim, beautifully hand-drawn adventure game by the creators of Little Briar Rose, in collaboration with studio Luna2.

30:08 Gosh darn stupid dumb horror movie characters going into scary places! When you can't control the character from going into a clearly dangerous area and time it's not scary anymore(at least for me)

2:00 - Why put in there the most stock horror music possible?
The painterly textures are nice, but why choose a "mid-2000s emo" character design?
Why is the world so anachronistic? They have street lamps and a water pipe system but the family is still using a fireplace and don't even have a stove? What year are we in?
Why is it the cliché "Adults are hiding something" story? And they are hiding something dangerous that is potentially life-threatening to children. Kids are not dumb, just tell them about the danger.
And if they try to make a horror-y game at least make the horror "punchy". 31:14 - That is a sound effect I would use to for a commercial cut in an old-school TV crime series, not for a horror "jump scare".
I don't know, this seems really cookie cutter at the moment.
