- This video is from Gir National Park & Sanctuary, in Sasan Gir, Gujarat, India. As we know Disney has released a live action remake of Lion King. To keep the momentum up we decided to say Hello to Indian SIMBA ! !
The Lions are found at present only in 2 area of the world. In Africa (Central and Southern) and in India.
Yes, in India. And probably the highest population of lion is found in India only and they are found in Gir forest in Gujarat. We were very excited about this trip. Check out all our experiences as we go for safari in open jeep with our driver and guide through the main Gir jungle. Earlier that day in morning, we also visited Devaliya Safari park which is an eco-tourism zone and private park nearby to Gir. Its main purpose was to reduce the tourist load from Gir Forest. We did bus safari in here in INR 150 per person.
PS: We didn't carry the DSLR with us ! But we tried to take the best shots of our royal animals !

The love of the Lioness with her cub was probably the main highlight of this video, and watching such a beautiful moment live in the park gives a special feeling.
You are right . We didnt have DSLR back then to capture it well, but it's one of our best memory of jungle... 🥰🥰

I came to know of the Asian Lions several months ago. And also learnt these almost extinct Asian Lions have been breed and reintroduced to the reserve forest.But this is the first time I could see them on the video. Amazing vlog.
The best moment was to see a lioness with her cub. That was precious!!!

@@SavvyFernweh I had visited interiors of Gir forest where I was almost attacked by a male lion. It was a close escape...
@@SavvyFernweh I had ventured in the core area, I could because of special permission. While camera on...I stepped in wrong place at wrong time. It was during breeding season and a Male Lion accidently came face off......My God...his growl and ready to pounce pose...I slipped out wirh help of forest rangers.

Yes it is ! if u don't step out of vehicle and follow Guide's directions & orders .. all is safe ! Animals are not like Humans .. they don't attack without any reason!!
