If I remember clearly her father Vuyisile Dikana a great drummer/vocalist came all the way from Port Elizabeth (E Bhayi) to Cape Town, Gugulethu Township, as young would be in musicians we befriended him, he was very strict though. He fell in love with the late Aneline Malebu (Vuyisile was very strict on her and her singing) of "Joy" a great band of three song stars backed by great musicians including the late saxophonist Duke Makhasi. I don't know Zonke personally but listening to her music I feel I'm saying the right things about part of her background. When I became a musician, a saxophonist, me and her father were all living but scattered all around Johannesburg until I left for Europe in the late 1990s. I have been listening to Zonke's music and following her career as a singer, a songwriter/ producer, she's absolutely BRILLIANT and AMAZING...!!!

Wow what an interview! Zonked is really talented she is a great performer. Her voice is powerful. She sounds like an amazing Human being also, I love the fact that she is very protective of her children she is a great Mom indeed, I give her props for raising her kids that way and instilling good values in them. I am also strict like her when it comes to raising my daughter.
