I made this wallet and it was awesome! You did a really good job explaining things. I made this wallet for myself and then my mom requested one so I made her one and after like 2 years it was starting to come apart and little repairs weren’t working so now I’m gonna make us both new ones!!!

Made my first ever duct tape wallets today, looking at it you could easily get by with making it only 7" wide about 6" if you dont put card slots on both sides

Also I used a old clear dragon shield sleeve for the ID plastic. Clear card sleeves make great ID plastic because they are designed to fit a card
Great Job! It was so easy to follow and it didn't use a lot of tape. I've seen tutorials that say you need at least 5 rolls of Duck Tape.😆

What plastic do you use?
something with a flat edge could help prevent bubbles. I make books and we use a bone folder for scoring and folding as well as pressing down paper when gluing to prevent bubbles, but any kind of flat edged tool could work in theory. A small ruler could work.

My second time making a tape wallet as an adult. Pulling out my tape wallet while adulting is probably the biggest power move. I’ll be at the bank putting in money and pulling out my tape wallet 😭 lol
Also side note for anyone using it on the regular I like to add some super glue under some flaps to make it extra secure. Obvi makes it much harder to make but helps keep the small flaps of the pockets from falling
